Hello Hivers
Welcome to #wednesdaywalk with thanks to @tattoodjay
My walk today is along the Goat Creek Trail. Located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
The trail runs from The Canmore, Alberta, Canada area to Banff, through unspoiled wilderness. Some droppings were sighted, but no large animals, you always have to be prepared in the backcountry in case of a bear, cougar or wolf encounter.
Some elevation changes, and I crossed two creeks, then the trail follows the Spray River, but it is more downhill then uphill.
The scenery is spectacular, and a few bridges make traversing the creeks easy.
The water here is the clearest I have ever seen, and quite cold, even in June.
Thanks for coming along on my walk in Banff National Park Canada.
Heaven on earth! Beautiful photos!
Thank you, yes an amazing trail and I only saw one other person the entire morning..
That clear crisp mountain water is making me thirsty
It does look inviting, I go to a spring near town regularly and get water, it's cold and clear.
Thank you for viewing my post.
the word majestic comes to my mind when I look at your wonderful photos of this very beautiful area
Thank you, I am amazed every day by it.
