A walk through the nature greens

In some days there is nothing better than walking around in the woods for a bit where you can see a bit of the contrast which is there in the daily. It is funny how the perception of winter and early spring is that eveything is brown and gray.

But the reality is that there is enough green to see when you have the time and attention to see a bit of it.

I like doing these kinds of walks with the doggo and then go of off the beaten paths for a bit. When everything it growing it is time to leave nature alone. But at this time when everything is still asleep, it is nice to walk a bit around the stuff what you normally don't see.

There is some forest management done luckily. Because these woods had a rough time after the rain and not all trees survived these last couple of months. So yeah, some of them were fallen down and some of them were chopped down.

But they left all the trees there to dissolve into the forest life and that is a cool thing as you see that nature takes over again.

Some branches just fall apart, some slowly get eaten by the little critters and some of them eventually get overgrown will all this kind of moss. And the moss totally a winter evergreen which is just really pretty amongst all the remnants of thr winter.

Pretty damn cool if you ask me if you can see how then the forest comes to life again because of that some trees die around there

It is just at all not a bad thing that having a dog makes you go to on all these mandatory walks. And furing these walks it is hardly an effort to take a little detour here and there and see something new. Like we did when we were kids, explore the reason without even having a reason for it. Doggo makes you do just that again.

So walking in the woods...yeah there is never not a reason to do a bit more of that. Regardless of what kind of weather it is outside, even when it is raining the woods are still a more than friendly place to walk into.

Sure..I don’t always feel like stepping outside. But once out there, there is never a second in my mind that I regret it.
