I always associate cockroaches with dirty and/or run down indoor buildings lol. Like a no star hotel haha. I never considered that they actually live outdoors 🤣🤣

Hehehe true, that's the most iconic image of a cockroach. I found some articles on the Internet stating that only 30 species out of 4,500 species present on this planet have that lifestyle in urban environments. But they come in great numbers and their impact is very visible. In nature, most of them live in a similar way and feed on decaying stuff. But outdoors they are a functional part of the ecosystem, not a problem. Many species in the wilderness look much different from the standard black or dark brown ones from the cheap hotels and run-down, noir apartments. Many species are quite lovely. I mean, in their insect way 😀not lovely like lovely birds or little puppies. Many of them have beautiful colors, amber translucencies, and intricate patterns on the wings.
That's really interesting. It makes sense that more live outdoors I suppose and that only certain species live indoors. They always do look the same in movies and photos. Haha
Heheheh they probably use only the species that are members of the insect actors union.
🤣🤣🤣
