As I shared in my previous post, we visited the Shrine of Padre Pio for Thanksgiving. Thus, aside from that, my husband is religious, and wherever he is around, I am close to having a halo on my head. Our first date back then was spent attending a mass, and we became an official couple after a holy mass. See? That is how he is. So, days before his flight back, we visited another church where we joined novena back then: Redemptorists - Lipa

Public transportation no longer passes by here, so we walk for a few minutes.

The jeep route was at the back entrance, so we entered first the chapel of lights.

One thing that I like here, the same as Padre Pio, is that there is a particular area where you can light a candle while offering a prayer.

What surprised me is that candles here are also free, though you may share a penny for donation.

After we are done, we walk to the main church. At first, I thought the mass had just ended, which is why there were only a few churchgoers. Yet, to our dismay, there is no schedule. Yes, there is one for the day, but it will be at two in the afternoon. We arrived at ten.

Mass Schedule was;

If it's only us, we would wait, but since we brought Caleb, I only dropped an envelope requesting Thanksgiving.

After, we stay for a while to rest and at least feel the essence of holiness.

Since this is one of the most visited churches in Lipa, even though the church was already huge, there is still an extension.

This capacity is still full of devotees, especially on Wednesday.

For devotees where they could hang sampaguitas.

Various merchandise is sold outside, including religious novelties, apparel, foods, and even plants.

We walked toward the market from the church as my husband wanted to buy a roasted pig. As per him, it wasn't a restaurant but a small food kiosk.

On our way, we saw this street food on the other side of the road.

Hold Caleb for a while and hand me your wallet.

He can't resist. Good thing if I am with him, this could be limited. I don't allow him for health reasons. Eating frequently and too much is not advisable, especially at our age.

Finally, we reached the market, yet after walking around, we didn't see what he was looking for. If we are unable to locate it, it moves to another area of business operation stop. It was hot, and he was also exhausted, so we ended up eating at another food kiosk.

Surprisingly, we spent less than $8 for our meal. Food in turo-turo was cheaper. The problem was that my stomach was sensitive now compared to before.

To quench my thirst, bought this avocado caramel frappe. Looks delicious, right? But naaa, it wasn't!

Could we drop by the mall? I want to roam around. Hehe, one thing I love about him is that he didn't complain. Since he knows that once he goes back to work, I will be stuck again at home!

I had no plan of buying anything but saw this customize keychains. Isn't it cute?

Did you find Mickey Mouse?

It costs $3, including the engraved word of your choice.

Here, I got mine and engraved our last name. Will be using this for a spare key of our house.

After, we went home as Caleb fell asleep.

That's the end of my #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. Have a great day, everyone.

This walk was last January 3rd week, husband was now back abroad.

Adding your last name makes it even more special. Plus, having a spare key ready is always a smart move.😍 want to mine too!

Aww your kid must miss his dad a lot. He looks so peaceful in your arms. Three dollars for a keychain seems pretty reasonable. I don't need one because my girlfriend gave it to me as a gift.
