If there is one thing that I don't like here in my husband’s hometown, it is the inconvenience of withdrawing cash. In the previous months, I used to go to a 7/11 convenience store, the nearest as there was an ATM provided by well know bank. However, it’s been weeks passed, and it was still out of order. That leaves me with no choice but to try at the town’s municipal hall. There are still two ATMs there, but sometimes run out of money too.
Which will be my entry today for #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay.
It’s almost December during this walk last week, and mostly in cities here are facilitating the opening of lights - decorations and Christmas lights.. Here it was the other night so no wonder the entrance now was fully adorned. I saw on Facebook the live streaming, and I missed Manila. Surely, the whole city was now illuminated, and food kiosks were set up. It would be nice to stroll around at night.
This is the back view.
The Christmas tree is now standing, well the metal stand has been there the whole year, and it was re-decorated.
Aside from the opening of lights, there was a contest in each barangay for lantern design. One of the mechanics was it should be made from recyclable materials. I don’t know how many are the participants, but these two I had captured. It was displayed near the ATMs.
Speaking of, as it’s my main purpose here glad it wasn’t out of order. At least one, as on my first try, it was unable to dispense cash.
Now, even the tree twigs were decorated with lights and candy canes.
Even the buildings were furnished with ornaments personalized by the city organizers and designers.
Wanna go to Candyland?
After a few steps, I found these.
Pink candies For sure kids would be happy playing here at night as the lights illuminate. Mental note to ask the husband to visit here when he arrives. For sure, our son would enjoy it here! Ah, I could imagine his face being in awe of the colourful surroundings.
Here is a clearer view of the Candies! Colourful it is.
Now that reminds me, I need to leave as I need to drop by the market. Besides, it was only my mother-in-law who left to take care of my baby.
As much as I wanted to explore more, this ends my documentation for this walk.
Have a great day, and thanks for dropping by.

Are you on Santa's naughty or nice list 🎅
