Today my daughter was off school for Lunar New Year. We got a good bit of snow today and decided to walk to the frozen lake while it was snowing. I had a gift card to our local coffee shop, so we stopped there on our way to warm up inside. We walked down Montgomery street toward Lake Champlain, and my daughter played in the snow near the lake. She also enjoyed picking up big chunks of snow and throwing them at me. Our quaint town looked adorable with all the snow around. It was a beautiful walk and I have posted many photos below.

Here are some photos of what the frozen lake looks like when there's no snow on top:

That's so nice to get an extra day off school and for you to spend some quality time with your daughter. She looks like she really enjoyed herself playing snow angel
Thank you, yes our state is the first in the country to give kids off for LNY!
Looks a fun walk in the snow
Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk Have a great day
Thank you, always happy to post in this community : )
👍🙂👍
Great time with the fam! Gotta love northwest New England and the crazy snow it gets!
It is crazy and absolutely unpredictable ❄️ Thanks for reading and commenting!
The photos are beautiful. The joy of the two of you too... it feels very cold, even through my screen. I live in Havana, where we have an eternal summer, so when I saw the photo of the cafe, I felt warmth.
I almost couldn't choose my favourite among all the photos, until I got to the frozen lake.
Thank you : ) Have you ever been in snow before?
🙂 nop... But I was born in Kiev and I was only there for the first 3 months of my life. I feel I have to meet the snow one day.
Definitely, it's beautiful and something you must experience ❄️
