Along With Nature, Human Life Is Also Changing

in Wednesday Walk2 months ago

We live, we hurry, we work, and we still do not find time to visit, call the people dearest to us ... We are still dissatisfied with something, we still lack something ... And time does not stop for a moment for us, who live, still live on this earth. But it is so fragile, temporary, and deceptive. A second - and time stops for someone.

Since a terrible storm raged for two days on All Souls' Day, we did not dare to go on a trip with our children to visit the graves of our deceased parents. All Souls' Day here is the day when all roads lead to places of eternal rest.

Chrysanthemums and candles lined up on the graves remind us of this. Thoughts about life, loved ones who have passed away, and your roots are intertwined in the rustling of leaves. We used to visit the graves of our beloved ones on this day, too. However, we postponed it until the wind stopped raging. But I will not be posting photos from the cemetery.

Lighting a candle on the grave of my parents, I thought about how much I could do, how much I would like to tell them now... But I cannot anymore... Today when I am seeing the flame of a candle flickering in the wind, which can go out at any moment, I can think. Alone. In peace. About many things... For what do I live? For what?

At least for this minute, by such a temporary candle flame, we can think about what we have done for others. Maybe tomorrow will be the day when we will no longer be able to do anything, say anything... Be silent, at peace, and forget about time. Now. At least for this minute, let peace of mind visit us…

Each day is a day when it is worth stopping, slowing down the pace of life and thinking. To think about what we have done in the past, to think about what awaits us in the future. To remember in silence… If those who passed away could tell us something, I think we would hear - Live and enjoy what you have. Cherish every day you are given and loved. Love life and people.

Let us stop and slow down the pace of life. Let us appreciate what we have today, even if we think it is not enough for us. Let us live today. We all think that misfortunes visit others, and somehow, they will not touch us. Unfortunately... we never know, we cannot know which kiss or goodbye until tomorrow will be the last one, which reproach we will no longer be able to express, which conversation will never be repeated, with whom we will never be able to quarrel or drink a cup of coffee more than once...

We do not know what awaits us in an hour or tomorrow... We do not know how our friendship with a loved one will end, so while it lasts, let us cherish every moment, every second... let us not hurt our closest, most beloved people, feeling guilty afterward, and promising to apologize tomorrow... Tomorrow may be completely different for us than we expected...

After visiting the graves, we did not go home, but went for a walk along the path along the sea. The wind was still blowing the foamy crests of the water, getting behind our collars and burning our cheeks, but the children still enjoyed running in the wind and on the damp sand. To avoid freezing completely, we took the path into the forest.

The last leaves are falling, nature is falling asleep, and people are also visited by an autumnal mood of sadness. Thoughts come to mind that, along with nature, human life is also changing. The evenings lengthen, and we have time for long conversations and closeness. After all, life is the greatest school for us, where we all learn, learn to love, not just live.
