Morning reflections, a walk through forgotten neighborhoods.

Hello dear friends of Wednesday Walk, this would be my first post here. A few days ago, I wanted to upload the post, but I hadn't found the time. Today, however, I'm sharing some pictures from a small morning walk.

I woke up really early, got ready, and went out for a little walk to reflect and relax. This, along with some music, brings an unparalleled peace to my soul, and it had been days since I last took some time for myself.

I decided to start my walk through some less-traveled neighborhoods, the kind many people wouldn’t dare to explore. However, these places are often the most peaceful, and you can stumble upon things that are a bit out of the ordinary.

Since it had rained quite a bit the night before, my dear umbrella, my faithful companion on all my walks, couldn’t be left behind—whether to shield me from the rain or the sun.

It was a bit sad to see the state of the streets in my city, how neglected and damaged they are. This led me to reflect for a while on the local management, which in turn sparked even more thoughts.

These are some of the places I passed through before reaching the main road again, each one a little different from the other.

This was one of my favorite photos. The wet road, some good jazz, and that landscape in the background were something magnificent to start the day and calm the spirit.

Later on, I came across some very interesting places, like the aging and cooperage facility of the rum factory. In the distance, you could spot a large bottle up high, which was quite a curious sight.

After walking a bit more, to my surprise, I got quite close to this place. It turned out to be the Hatuey brewery, a national brand that I didn't even remember existed. I haven’t seen that kind of beer in many years.

Here I end my walk for the day, as I realized I had walked quite a bit—about three and a half kilometers—without even noticing, and I was a bit far from home.

I hope you enjoyed the walk, and see you on the next adventure!
