Walk from the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge parking lot to the Carmans River. Paths are wide, made with fine granite stone and dust...

You first walk through a dense oak woods with blue berry and other under story bushes just leafing out...

Skunk Cabbage as we get closer to the river...

Broadest part of the shallow river...looking from the road bridge...

I was looking for the big Osprey birds but only saw this Catbird...

Heading back over the bridge to the parking lot...
