Today I am here to tell you about a trip I had to make to Havana, the capital city last Wednesday for work reasons, because my job is in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of my province and I had to go to the Pedro Kouri Tropical Medicine Institute to receive a course of improvement, to assemble new techniques that will begin to be performed for the first time in my province.
That day I got up very early, because I had to be at the Institute around nine in the morning and it is about 3 hours of travel, I went down the street to the place in the city where I would pick up the cab that would take me there, so I could enjoy from very early the rebirth of dawn among the small corners of the city, making its majestic entrance with each ray of sunshine waking up the city that was still sleeping.
Around 7:30 the cab arrived to pick us up, because I was going with another co-worker, we got in the car and took the national highway, where I decided to photograph everything beautiful that I saw on my way along the road, as Mogotes, lagoons, sky in short everything that caught my attention for its greenery and beauty, By the way, as a curiosity, the cab driver turned out to be a woman, who by the way also made this trip something impossible to forget, because she was very nice and talkative, which made our long trip a little more bearable.
When we arrived at the Pedro Kouri Institute of Tropical Medicine or IPK, we immediately went up to the molecular laboratories, where we were received with much affection and attention, of course I owe her the snapshots, because it is a place where due to biohazard problems, cell phones are not allowed inside their facilities, But the truth is that what was exposed there was very useful for the new techniques, besides that we left with all the doubts clarified, and not before taking some pictures at the entrance of the IPK, because the truth was a lot of emotion, because I had never before had the privilege of visiting such a prestigious facility in our country.
When we left there, the cab was already waiting for us, and after more pictures we boarded the cab again and started our trip back to our beautiful city of Pinar del Rio. Again, almost three hours of trip that luckily were not at all tedious despite the sun and the heat, because the cab was well equipped and on the way we were making jokes and laughing, so it was a wonderful trip.
Almost entering the city I took some snapshots, because that part of the city has always attracted my attention, as I see in it a beautiful part of the city. When we arrived we got out of the car, and back home. Friends, I say goodbye, but not before telling you that it was a beautiful and wonderful Wednesday ride that I will always remember, because it was a beautiful and new experience for me. Hola amigos de @Hive especialmente a la comunidad de @wednesdaywalk. En el día de hoy paso por acá para contarles sobre un viaje que tuve que hacer a La Habana, la ciudad capital el pasado miércoles por cuestiones de trabajo, pues mi puesto laboral es en el Laboratorio de Biología Molecular de mi provincia y tuve que dirigirme hasta el Instituto de Medicina Tropical Pedro Kouri a recibir un curso de superación, para montar técnicas nuevas que se comenzaran a realizar por primera vez en mi provincia.
Ese día me levanté bien temprano, pues había que estar en el Instituto sobre las nueve de la mañana y son alrededor de 3 horas de viaje, baje toda la calle hasta el lugar de la ciudad donde me recogería el taxi que me llevaría hasta allá, así que pude disfrutar desde bien temprano del renacer de la alborada entre los pequeños rincones de la ciudad, haciendo su majestuosa entrada con cada rayito de sol despertando la ciudad que aún dormía.
Sobre las 7 y 30 llegó el taxi a recogernos, pues iba con otro compañero de trabajo, montamos en el auto y tomamos la autopista nacional, donde decidí fotografiar todo lo hermoso que vi a mi paso por la carretera, como Mogotes, lagunas, cielo en fin todo aquello que llamara mi atención por su verdor y hermosura, haciendo de nuestro viaje toda una delicia a la vista, por cierto como curiosidad el chofer del taxi resulto ser una mujer, que por cierto también hizo de este viaje algo imposible de olvidar, pues era bien simpática y conversadora, lo que hizo nuestro largo viaje un poco más llevadero.
Al llegar al Instituto de Medicina Tropical Pedro Kouri o como sus siglas lo indican IPK, enseguida subimos a los laboratorios moleculares, dónde nos recibieron con mucho cariño, y atención, por supuesto las instantáneas de allí se las debo, pues es un lugar donde por problemas de riesgos biológicos, no se permiten móviles dentro de sus instalaciones, pero la verdad que lo que allí se expuso nos sirvió de mucho para las nuevas técnicas, además de que nos fuimos con todas las dudas aclaradas, y no sin antes tomarnos unas fotos en la entrada del IPK, pues la verdad la emoción era mucha, pues nunca antes había tenido el privilegio de visitar tan prestigiosa instalación de nuestro país.
Al salir de allí, ya el taxi nos esperaba, y después de más fotografías abordamos el taxi de nuevo y comenzamos nuestro recorrido de regreso a nuestra hermosa ciudad de Pinar del Río. Nuevamente, casi tres horas de viaje que por suerte no fueron nada tediosas a pesar del sol y el calor, pues el taxi estaba bien equipado y en el camino veníamos haciendo chistes y riéndonos, así que fue un viaje maravilloso.
Ya casi entrando a la ciudad tomé algunas instantáneas, pues esa parte de la ciudad siempre me ha llamado mucho la atención, pues veo en ella una hermosa parte de la ciudad. Al llegar descendimos del auto, y de regreso a casa. Amigos, ya me despido, no sin antes decirles que fue un hermoso y maravilloso paseo de miércoles y que recordaré siempre, pues fue una hermosa y nueva experiencia para mí.
