For this blog, I will be sharing with you the errand that I did last Wednesday.
School activity has been very heavy lately. Quizzes, reportings, demonstrations, and everything that a student must comply with.
Last Wednesday, most of our instructors conducted asynchronous classes. We didn't have to meet face-to-face encounters and of course, they handed us activities to be done at home.
But on that day, Me and my friend named Justine had to go to school for some little but important matter. And so, left with no choice, we went to school.
We arrived at school around nine in the morning and finished the matter at ten.
Then, we went for a quick visit to a printing shop to print some of our lessons.
After that, my friend, Justine told me that she would go to her grandmother's house somewhere in San Remigio Cebu.
She mentioned that the house of her grandma is located near the beach.
And so, as a wanderer, I automatically decided to go with her. I was thinking that I could unwind there and even have a peaceful study.
And luckily, she agreed with me.
Before heading there, we went to Gaisano, a shopping mall, to buy some food to eat. We bought food that's enough for two.
After, we waited for a jeep with a route to her grandma's place.
We waited for 30 minutes until the jeep arrived. We paid for 40 pesos as a fare.
After almost 30 minutes of traveling, we finally arrived.
My friend, Justine just sent me to the shore while she goes to her grandma's house. I did not come with her because together with her family, they were going to discuss some important matters.
And that is not a problem for me.
I head to the shore and the view is such a vivid green!😍
The area is surrounded by big and tall trees.
These are the coconut and buri trees.
The trees have a huge impact on the visitors in the area as they serve as a shed for everyone, an umbrella against the burning heat of the sun.
I just want to share with you a short trivia that I have known since I was young. The Buri tree produces fruits and the tapioca pearl is made out of Buri fruit.😍
Shout out to those tapioca pearl lovers here, especially when added to Milk teas, or any other drinks.🧋😉
One last trivia is that the buri leaves can be a broom. We all know that a broom is very useful for removing dust inside the house and it is proven that the broom made out of Buri is strong and would long last.😊

And so much for that, just to let you know, last Wednesday was a sunny day. Good thing, Mr, Cloud was there to cover me from the heat of Mr. Sun.
When I arrived, I came up with an idea that I could surely focus on studying here. Good thing, there were only a few people who were there.
The place is very peaceful and quiet. What I can hear is the waves of the water. The waves were a music to my ear and it comforted me.
I strolled the area and then a few minutes later, my friend arrived. Using the blanket, we sat down.
You might see some unhealthy foods, but as you know, coming here is never a plan and that's the most convenient food we saw and bought.
We eat unhealthy foods occasionally and so, it is okay. 😊
The reason why I was there is to study for tomorrow's quizzes. And so, I was forcing myself to focus and study.
Sometimes, studying is hard especially if you are not in the mood. But I was lucky that day because my brain was in the mood that it made me study for at least 1 hour straight.
One hour is not bad. There is really an advantage if you study in a peaceful and harmonious place.
After an hour, we took a break and ate the food we brought from Bogo City, Cebu.
After eating, unintentionally, We came to the topic of what the future brings. We talked about our worries for the future.
This is probably normal since we are both the first child of the family and the responsibility on our shoulders is quite heavy.
It is a relief when you have a friend with whom you can express what you feel. We were just hopeful for a better and stable future, wishing for guidance and answered prayers.
After that, we came back to study again. Our mindset on that day was to avoid getting a zero for tomorrow's quiz. lol.
Around three in the afternoon, we noticed that the sea water level rose. We walked on the shore and saw how clear the water was.
It is like the water is calling us.
And in myself, I was thinking that I could only come here seldomly, so why not give myself a dip into the water?
There she is. Being tempted by the clear water.😍
Good thing I wore a short under my pants. I was borrowing my friend's long sleeve and did not come home wet.
After an hour in the water, we felt cold and since we were satisfied soaking there, we decided to head back to our place where we put our things. Then, We changed dry clothes, packed our things, went to the highway, waited for the bus, and went home.
I am always and forever grateful for the wonderful places made by God. I can experience and witness how naturally beautiful this world is.❤️
My advice to my co-learners who are here in this community is to not forget to enjoy yourselves. Take a moment to enjoy. Nevertheless, do not forget the study of course. Studying is the only tool we can have to remove our families from poverty.
When we study, we get knowledge, when we are filled with knowledge, then we can have the power to do the right things and live a better life.
