Hey, I didn't know that Miholjsko leto was called because of the proximity of the celebration of that saint. I mean, it sounds so logical but I have never thought about its name. Thanks for this info.
But what should I do?
Oh, you should send some to us too 😆
I would not send such a calorie bomb to my friend. Although he would appreciate it 😀
Because of the Julian and Gregorian calendars, and looking at the church calendar, I mixed everything up 🤔
I mixed up the dates, Saint Michael, which Catholics celebrate on September 29, and Orthodox Christians celebrate in November 🙂
And then I came across the name of the saint whom the Orthodox celebrate on October 12 (Saint Kiriak Ostelnik), when they celebrate the feast of Miholjdan, hence the name for this second, shorter summer.
I thought i knew but i was wrong 🙂
Now it all sounds more complicated with the names and dates. Let's keep it simple: enjoy that sun and warm autumn days until you can ;)
With such a delicacy and the sun in the sky, I forget my name, not the date of the church holiday 🙂
😂
Ok, let me help you, you are Dusko.
