If I remember well, the books say that clouds are formations of particles - such as dust or sea salt for example, which attract water vapour and thus rise until the vapour condenses and forms water droplets, which by the way are tiny. They float because they are so light, they mix with the air and so we see them as clouds floating in the sky. More or less this would be the explanation, which may be that I already explained it wrong... since it was a long time since I left the school desks.
My apologies if the clouds are formed in a different way... But leaving aside the possible scientific descriptions, I think most of us who have that imaginative side, or at least a bit artistic, could see shapes in the clouds that our eyes have already seen and then we make the connection.
It's an elephant or a dog... look at the other one - it looks like a dinosaur. {not that we have ever seen a real dinosaur though} Yes, yes, we all do it - or we have done it at some point in our lives and it is something really cool.
Even if you don't have that inclination toward clouds or don't want to apply your imagination, you can surely appreciate the beauty of these fluffy, scattered formations. The blue of the sky is always a calming background, necessary to see the contrast between these white illusions. It is like seeing a backdrop for our wandering souls, walking on the clouds, in a dreamlike illusion.
It is possible that up there is a place where reality is confused with fantasy; it may be that there is a hidden path that guides us to unknown but at the same time familiar places. I can't tell you with certainty. But what I can tell you is that this was a very familiar walking route for me, but the clouds added a different touch to pass through the paths between the orchards.
We were already going back home when I decided to capture a few of these scenes with fluffy clouds, and it turned out to be not just a few photos... sorry for this cloud overdose. 😁🌤 Time to change the focus to other details in this little walk; there was a tree with many little yellow flowers. It adopted a shape to leave space for the vehicles to pass under it.
Cats were not missing this time either. This kitty allowed me to get close and give her some cuddles although she was more interested in having a little nap. Maybe I was boring her so she yawned to let me know.
The lovely Nerium oleander plants tried to get some attention too. They grow here almost in every corner as they simply love this Mediterranean climate.
I love their scent but we should be careful when enjoying its smell. Did you know that it is quite toxic in case of ingestion?
Let's close this Wednesday Walk with the flowers of Nerium oleander and for safety reasons enjoy it just through the screen. 🌸
That sky speckled with small clouds looks handmade 🤭. How beautiful the oleanders. They reminded me of my grandparents' home garden, pink ones abounded. They no longer exist...like so many other things that disappeared. Un abrazo 🤗
Well, that indeed looks like a beautiful handmade creation. Made by someone as talented as you :D
The oleanders - we also had them when I was a child, but it was a struggle to have them in pots, as they would not survive the winters so we had to take them inside every autumn.
My favorite cloud formation is when they get too thick, and they start to block the sun 😂. It's just too hot in our country, so sometimes I love having cloudy days.
The cat seems to enjoy the cloud formations and might be imagining that there's a big cat up there hahaha.
Haha, it is hot here too, so I also like those clouds when we need to find some shade, you are right. ⛅️
Very nice walk, surrounded by beautiful flowers. And that sky with its clouds enchanted me. The sky gives us every day a different but always beautiful show. Thank you @mipiano nice day.🌸🥰🌤️⛅
I am glad you liked the sky with the clouds, @mamani. 😇⛅
We can walk the same route many times but if we know to see the different details then it is more interesting ;)
The clouds in your photos, in a very soft and calm sky made me remember an old cartoon movie: Jack and The Magic Beans, in it the main character sowed some bean seeds and a plant grew up and reached the clouds, and I was so excited to find some bean seeds like those... I wanted to go up to those same clouds in your photos, with those delicious candyfloss shapes... it felt so real that they still impress me when I see them and I feel I can touch them with the tip of my fingers....
They are not dust or sea salt, they are fine grains of cane sugar... 😉
The flowers of Nerium oleander look very much like some that abound in our gardens and smell exquisite.
Happy afternoon.
Ah, sorry, I was wrong - of course they are particles of cane sugar 😉
I remember that story, the cartoon with those magic beans. Maybe we could try claiming that tree with the yellow flowers, to get closer to the clouds 😇
Thank you so much @adaluna1973 for your comment that also made me remember that story!
They are what I call real clouds, real clouds, because there are clouds that are not real. I always like these clouds because of their shape, because I like to find things in them.
The kitten killed me with love and those last shots with the flowers are super beautiful. !!!! Thank you for this beautiful walk!😍
And how are the clouds that are not real?
The kitten was cute and friendly, there were others too but they ignored my wishes to cuddle them hahaha
They have a different shape and are not produced by the natural method of clouds .... but by other methods, they are more elongated with trails and then disarrange a little and it looks like fog...
No matter, a kitty was sweet and that matters.
Damn! I always thought those were big sized cotton candy in the sky :(
Nice tactic by cat to get you away, haha. Overall that was a wonderful walk 🎈
Hahaha, sorry for disappointing you - but as I said I might be wrong, who knows, maybe they are indeed cotton candies :D
I love looking at the clouds when I travel by airplane...really beatiful!
From the window of an aeroplane, the clouds look wonderful 😇
I never knew clouds are particles in the sky, lol
I just felt that’s how the sky is supposed to be
Is it possible for the sky to be without particles?
The sky looks amazing with beautiful clouds 😍
I also loved seeing the sky full of these little clouds 😊
Such a lovely cat🥰
:))
The shots you show are all good but I'm more interested in the white flowering plant.
They are indeed so nice and have a pleasant scent 🌸
