Not all walks are meant to take place in nature. I know, it is much nicer if you nourish your soul with blue skies and greenery around you, or listen to the gentle rustle of leaves, or birdsong. A walk is also an activity spent like... looking for the right clothing item. Going in and out of all those women's clothing stores can be just as exhausting as hiking mountains. 😆
If you are in the mood for that kind of walk, join me today in this Wednesday Walk. However, before we start with the shopping thing, we have to stop for a few moments at the post office. I had a package to send, luckily my turn came pretty quickly, although that is not always the case. The last time I wanted to send something I spent over half an hour waiting for my turn.
Right after leaving the post office, I hit the window of this store. That is, the pastel colours of this casual clothing from the window hit my thoughts. They reminded me of what was waiting for me - a pleasant time dedicated to trying on clothes. 😎 If I change careers, maybe I consider modelling. Just kidding, of course. 😂
The saleswoman at this store was very nice, but unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that would be suitable for the occasion which prompted me to go on this whole search. What I am looking for is a black blouse or an elegant shirt that I can wear under a black blazer for the concert that will take place in Teruel, this Saturday. It is a town where the temperatures are a bit lower this time of year, and the fact is also that we are performing in the cathedral... I assume there is no heating there. I don't like it when I am cold during a performance, I don't want my fingers to be cold because then they are like frozen and I can't control them well. So, I am looking for something warmer, but elegant. The blazer I will wear is not the same as I usually wear; this one is a little thicker, at least to protect me a bit more from the cold.
We will spend most of our today's walk on this street. Inside the shops actually. In the next store I went into I found something that might be suitable.
The material was a little warmer, it was elegant and formal, but somehow the style didn't suit me. Still, I gave it a chance and tried on the blouse. It would have been good, but when I put on the blazer I was going to wear over it, I realized it wasn't a good combination.
No worries, there were plenty of other shops. 😂
I spent quite a lot of time in this one, La Corona Moda. They had a variety of styles and colours, from elegant to more casual, for elderly people and younger ones.
They also had a stylist who could help you find what you needed and if you needed to correct something on the item you wanted to buy. They were very friendly. There I tried on a black knit shirt, quite thin and moulded to my body. I thought about it for a long time, I liked it and it went quite well with the blazer.
However, I found it not elegant enough for the concert so I didn't buy it.
While waiting for the saleswoman to talk to her and ask for her opinion, I spotted these long dresses with floral motifs. :D Well, the blue one was pretty, its price too - 250€. 😅
I left the shop with empty hands and browsed among the offers of the few next stores. Nice arrangements in the windows and details in the interior. A bicycle? OK, not for riding but just as a shelf.
I liked the hanging lamps in this one... no suitable garment for me though.

Does it mean the bloggers buy their clothes here? The name was catchy, but I didn't enter this one. I glanced through the shop windows but saw nothing that could fit my search...
Inside always have some good prices but I am not sure about the quality. Look, this was not bad, I tried it on. I even liked it a lot but it had short sleeves and it is not really warm... If I bought it, it would be just for summer, but I already have enough of those thin, summer blouses and shirts. I rejected the temptation.
I did leave Macadamia with a black turtleneck that I bought, but not for the concert I needed. It was on sale and I liked it... really, this was an impulse purchase. 😂 I also liked the combination of the green/yellow shirt and black skirt... but one unnecessary purchase was enough. 😅
I am sorry you had to visit all these shops with me now... for the end, not the whole Wednesday Walk will be dedicated to clothes. Before I headed home, I passed through the place where classical music sounds from hidden speakers in this park.
I hate to go shopping, especially for clothes, your post today was a nightmare to me. 😂 I hope you find what you need before Saturday!

Thank you, but no time for more searching, tomorrow I work all day and on Friday we will already hit the road. I will wear something I already have at home but stay in the coat until it is our turn to play 😅. Gloves are a must, I should not forget them at home 🤞

I agree with @palomap3, I don't like trying on clothes. I usually try on a few clothes that I like the look of and then buy them haha.
I think I like trying on clothes but not the crowd and all that feeling that the big shopping malls give. In little shops like these, it was more pleasant haha, even though the search didn't finish with success 😉
I share my secret: when I find something I like I usually buy several in different colours. 🤣 Shhh… 😜

One of my "biggest" nightmares! I don't have the good taste to choose clothes for myself. I end up buying clothes that are very similar in terms of cut. And has you might guess, I don't have the patience to go shopping in malls, let alone during the festive season Ahaha
Hahaha, I don't like shopping malls either, yeah, especially as you say during the festive season. These were just the shops in the city so one can stand this kind of shopping a bit better, and especially if I need something. In the end, I think I will need to search in my closet and figure out how not to freeze down on Saturday 😂

No, I didn't buy that one but a turtleneck (suéter con cuello alto). I didn't take a photo of it. It is more informal, but black, so it goes well with jeans or other trousers too. :))

I haven't patience to buy clothes, it really annoyed me , my wife found good stuff when she lived in Valencia , still she had all the clothes from there , but she bought from mercadillo and even crazy fashion and expensive clothes for 5 € in Cáritas 😅😅😅

Those are the best ones when good quality can meet lower prices, like in charity shops. It was a long time ago I went to search for clothes for the last time, and even now I didn't find what I needed 😂

Besides yup, even though i am a bloke, clothes shopping is enjoyable to me, one needs to feel, caress and try on clothes before buying, you need the vibe I guess of just knowing what you have bought is what you wanted. Does that make sense?
It is essential to try out clothes, touch them, and see how you feel about them when on you. I think I have never bought myself a piece of clothes online. Well, I am lying; once I bought a pair of Converse sneakers from their online shop, but just as I knew I can't go wrong with the model and number 😂

One-time while I was still pregnant I pleaded with hubby to accompany me go clothe shopping, he accepted but when we returned he said to me "I won't accompany you next time" that was because I was too indecisive of what I wanted and we ended up picking just one dress after visiting 4 shops. You needed to see the looks on his face 🤭
I think it is more fun to go shopping with girlfriends or sisters, or alone as then you manage all your time as you wish :)

Uh why is the road so empty, so less people around. It must be very quiet and beautiful to take a walk that way. But shoppings are not very much my thing I usually get stuff online 🤗
