In fact, I am a person who likes to plan my daily affairs and if something goes wrong, I get nervous.
But sometimes I allow myself to float downstream ...
Once in a while I love this feeling when I come to town and go without knowing where I will go next and and I don't know who I will meet!
It was just such a day, and besides, it was a national holiday - Defender of the Fatherland Day, and when I arrived in Lviv, I heard the sounds of a concert on the square near the monument to Shevchenko. I stood for a moment and even shot a video. This song moved me to the depths of my soul. The theme of the concert was "songs of war" ... yes, the unofficial war in eastern Ukraine has been going on for many years and people continue to die ... In Western Ukraine we do not feel this, but such events again remind us of this terrible truth.
"Why did Svirid survive? ..." a song about a heroic doctor who lost his legs and continued to operate on wounded soldiers, standing on crutches!
There was another holiday on this day, October 14 - the religious holiday of the Intercession. And it was also the birthday of my eldest daughter godmother, whom I had not seen for a long time. I called to congratulations her and it so happened that she was at home and we could see each other for half an hour.
I walked around the city to her house and enjoyed the autumn on the streets of Lviv. I haven't walked here for a long time, so I'm in no hurry. Because I now live in a village, and I rarely visit Lviv, usually in a hurry and solving various urgent matters.
We met my husband near the garrison temple. And here, at the entrance was a wedding. We approached at the very moment when a young couple of brides were leaving the temple and the girl was throwing candies to the cheerful shouts of the guests! Do you also have such a tradition - to catch candy from the hands of the bride? And then I took a picture of a cheerful gentleman with a wedding loaf in his hands :)
Here in the square near the temple there was once a French cafe, where we were once on the second floor with a friend and ate delicious French cookies. A good warm memory. Now here, in an old beautiful house, a dumpling restaurant "Baluvana Galya" :)
And here I am already walking down the street. Krakowska, where there are always many tourists. I go to the unique coffee shop "Old Lion's Bookstore" to buy a book for my little Darinka, who loves to read. A very cozy place where you can drink coffee from a Galician ceramic cup at a round table and read a book!
I turned on the Armenian street and again felt this unique charm of an exclusive ancient place that preserves so many monuments of old architecture.
My friend lives in a mysterious Armenian yard and when I came in her holl I took a few more photos from the window - there you see an Armenian church. Probably wonderful to live in such a house, in the heart of my ancient Lviv. Here was such an impromptu walk I had, a great opportunity to stop for a few hours and experience the life of the city of Leo, where 50 years of my life have passed and every street filled with pleasant memories ...
Thanks for your visit 😊
The photo of the bride and the wedding party made me smile. So joyous and a wonderful moment to celebrate.

We used to throw rice at the happy couples as they came out, but now we blow soap bubbles because the rice was killing birds when it expanded in their stomachs.
Wow what a stunningly gorgeous place so filled with history and beauty.
What a beautiful walk!
