I was at the garage yesterday when I heard Mama calling me from afar. I thought she's in her house, but when I get closer to check, her voice is actually coming from where the two old couple's house is. She's calling me nonstop, sk I thought something serious happened, though I didn't sense any fears or what. But I just thought it was really serious, just based on how she wants me to hurry.
When I learned where her voice is coming from, which is in the kitchen of the old couple, I walked faster to get there. There's a small window/entrance in there to get to the other side where you can see this, it's the small stream. Look at Mama, so she's in there. I asked her why she's in there, but she showed me this instead, Black Black is on that small stream fishing using her claws, lol. Isn't it cute? Haha
Me, Mama, and the old couple are feasting our eyes with her cuteness here. She's really trying hard, lol. She's not afraid of the water either, in fact, she dips her paws into the water a lot of times just to reach a fish or some leaves. I can also feel her excitement whenever she reaches for something, like she's already looking forward to an exciting time in this small stream, lol.
But as much as I want to admire this cutie here, I'm also curious why Mama was here, so I followed her and asked her what she's doing there. But before that, I ready my phone first because I so love to see what I'm seeing there. The vibrant green color is just too mesmerizing and blinding for me to ignore it. This is the reason why the old couple makes their small hangout at the back of their house here. I heard from Mama that this is also where the old couple drink some alcohol while chilling after the long and tiring day of selling vegetables in the scorching heat of the sun.
But anyways, this is actually the reason why Mama was here. She decided to harvest some sweet potato leaves and spinach, they are growing on this part, and they look healthy. And because there are not many people going in here, we are sure that they are clean.
Those leaves really just started growing here. This is so much better because aside from being free, they really have a lot of health benefits. My favorite recipe for this vegetable is that "adobo." It's the best! Especially if it's sour, hehe. So here's the freshly picked spinach and potato leaves ┏(＾0＾)┛.
Mama continues harvesting while I just enjoy myself looking around. It's not like I can just go visit on this side every day, in fact, the last time I've been here was last year. Y'all know how I've been stuck at home because of my operation.
So I'm super happy that I get the chance to be here again. Well, I have to thank Mama for calling me here, hehe.
And look at this jiggly, wiggly creature, it seems like it is enjoying its pleasant "crawl" in here too. I can't blame it, this part is really rich of beautiful scenery. Even Uno, our dog, is enjoying his walk here, yeah, Mama has the guide, haha. Uno and the other dog often hangout here. They sometimes go back home with a bone in their mouth, lol. It's from COOP, a two-story building near here. They have a restaurant now, and they often butcher some chicken here, so if we get lucky, our dog will go home with a big bone.
Now, as for Black Black, she's still busy catching some fish, hahaha. Too bad she couldn't catch anything, lolol.
After watching Black Black for a little while and Mama finishing picking the green leafy veggies, we then go back home. I also see Ka Nida on our way, picking something on the ground. And yes, this is their secret sanctuary, their hangout place to chill. It's actually not bad because of the fresh air and also the green scenery here.
