Mama is planning to buy dried fish again, so she planned to go visit the market. She asked me if I wanted to come, and I said yes. We still have the Chicken Sisig I bought at the restaurant nearby yesterday. I just put it in the fridge last night. But we don't have a vegetable dish for lunch, so I also want to go to the market to check the vegetables I could get in there. I don't have the plan of what vegetable to make, so whatever I find in the market, then I'll just get that. It should be a vegetable that we haven't had in a while. Ah, wait, vegetables are really expensive right now, so I'll just go get a simple but cheap one. Lol. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

We started our walk after a quick preparation. We also use our usual route, which is here. And there's an ongoing construction in this area. I heard from Mama that they are continuing the construction of the second floor in this building, they are also planning to put an escalator in there. Mama knows about it because she attended during a public meeting. I mean, it's a meeting between our mayor and the governor and some other board member. Then our mayor secured a budget just for the continuation of the construction of this building. All the stores here had to move somewhere to continue their operation.

Anyways, do you remember the Mangyans that I mentioned in this article? I didn't see them during our visit that day, but today they are present. They are outside, though, and this time, it is not a crop they're selling but some kind of plants with pretty flowers. Some people are in there asking about the plants, but I am not sure if they bought some. But I hope they did. They're kind of having a negotiation or something.

And the Tiangge-an is actually open today, but we didn't spend a lot of time in there. There are people selling dried fish there, but Mama doesn't like them. She's looking for a particular dried fish, and it's not available here. So we'll have to check at the main market, which is just a few steps away from here ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭.

So here's our last stop. This is where we usually buy dried fish. Look how well their fried fish is in here. They are also affordable too, and they have different kinds of dried fish. I am not really familiar with some of them, but my favorite is the Dried Sapsap. It's best to pair it with fried rice, then with a special dip made with vinegar. Ahhh, I already missed eating it. I didn't buy this today, though.

If you want to know what Sapsap looks like, just look at the last photo, that one with 300 on it. Meaning it's 300 pesos per kilo. It's actually our favorite, me and the oldies. Mama doesn't like it, though, because they are too hard for Mama's teeth. Lol. It's been a long time since I last had it. Sadly, dried fish has a lot of sodium content, which is bad for me. So yeah. I might eat it, but I can't eat it as often as I could before.

And here's the dried fish Mama bought for herself. She already fried it during lunchtime. I think it's a "Tapulok" or maybe "Tamban?" I am really not sure. Or are they the same?

So how about you? Do you eat dried fish ba? If so, what's your favorite dried fish? How do you eat it?

We went back home after spending a minute here. Here's the busy wet market in Poblacion. There's a fresh fish available, but Mommy F doesn't really like most of them. So... ╮(^▽^)╭.

As for the vegetable, I ended up buying sweet potato leaves again. Well, it's a healthy green leafy vegetable so i've no problem with it. I just boiled it and eat it with raw tomatoes. Yum ( ◜‿◝ )♡.

The shiny fishes though looks like tilapia fish, the way it is spiced just the way i like. I prefer dried fishes to fresh or fry, it always brings out a unique flavor when eating with anything

There's a tilapia dried fish too yeah. And yeah, dried fish it fried fish just hit differently.

Hmmm well both have different taste but i still preper dried over fry

Why not kaya open ka business na ganito tinda like sari-sari. If ever, dahil maunti pa tinda jan, marami kayo magiging suki. UwU. Magandang family business sya

I like the other dried fish compared to sapsap. Marami Kasi tinik ang sapsap😂.

Ohhh, but it's malutong so it's easy to eat pa din. Have you tried eating it na malutong pagkakaluto?
