Hello, and howdy my lovely friends. How are you today? How was your daily walks of life? I hope everything is fine, just keep going towards our goal.
For today's blog, I will share with you another wonderful walk I made when I went to Cebu City last week. Because of some important duties that I needed to attend with my aunt, I had to make an absent in school today. We went to Robinsons Place for she had to make a follow up on something at the LTO Office.
While my aunt is talking to the officer inside the office, I was roaming around waiting and making myself busy in order not to get bored. Checking on the different stalls and stores inside the place, I found one which catches my attention. I was a little bit amazed with one of the stores which displays different kinds of town houses, a glittering lights of Christmas and the different arts display. This is the "Christmas Village of Love".
When I was still a kid, it has always been my dream to watch beautiful townhouses like what I saw on TV and fairytale movies. Never did I imagine that one of my dreams will come true today, seeing different styles of houses and walking inside a village with glittering lights and snows dropping inside. Fulfilling my childhood dreams is awesome But behind these beautiful townhouses is a heartwarming reasons why they had displays at Robinsons Place.
The Christmas Village of Love located at Robinsons Place is a personal collection of the Tugonons. With a beautiful intention to help cancer patients through the help of their personal house collections. Touring around this heartwarming village is free with the initiative of helping the children battling for cancer, you can help the village by adopting a house. It doesn't mean adopt a house where you bring the house collection at home but, "adopt" a house means paying a house collection worth Php5000.00 then your name will be displayed on the top of the house or either you "adopt a village", meaning your name will be placed on the entire village. The money that will be collected will be donated to cancer patients for treatment and well being of the children.
After our talks, I was given the chance to tour around. What a wonderful place with different designs of Americans and European type of houses, and arts being displayed inside. Houses were made of different designs with scenic locations, some were placed with mountain view , others were displayed on an artificial snow, and also carnivals that can be seen everywhere in the city center.
I was amazed talking to the caretaker of the stall with the information shared to me. I wished I could also help those who are battling their life with cancer. What a wonderful day it is. As if I am walking on a different country.
If you will be asked, what type of house you want to adopt? What country you love to travel? I hope I could hear your answers in the comment section.
That's all for today's walk my dear friends. I hope you had a great walk too. This is my entry to participate in the #wednesdaywalk initiated by the wonderful @tattoodjay.
Have a nice day everyone 😊
