In June I went to Missouri, both Kansas City and St. Louis. Here is a look at the fabulous Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.
Here is a map of the Garden. It is 79 acres (32 ha) and was built in 1859.
In addition to all the plant life there are some really great buildings scattered throughout the garden.
This is the entrance to the garden.
I crave the green!
There were some waterfalls and streams. I really enjoy the sound of running water.
Of course you came to the garden to see the plants!
This garden has a very impressive 14-acre (5.7 ha) Japanese Garden with some bridges and a lot of very big koi fish!
In addition to the Japanese garden they also had a cool Chinese garden.
In this post I have highlighted this fantastic garden. Below is one of my favorite shots from the trip. We went to see Chihuly in the Garden and in the next post I will feature the Chihuly in this garden.

You have shown us some pretty amazing gardens throughout the years Sara and they are always so well captured!
Great scenery and great photography, all in one post!
Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks I was just reading your post and thinking "what will it feel like when I get to Greece. Will it feel like I know it cause I have seen it and experienced it through Stefanos posts for so many years?" I do think there will be a little magic and awe when I get there.
I have seen New York in so many movies that when I actually visited it, it felt like a familiar place.
But the real thing is totally different!
I am sure it will be the same for you when you come to Greece :)

Hi Jay, thanks so much. I didn't realize that St. Louis had such a great garden. It seems I can find a great garden in just about every city I visit! :)
Should we start calling you the garden finder :)
Yes, maybe I'll make a formal garden group. :) I like to garden and am in that group. It would be fun to see formal gardens from all over the world.

Hey @sjarvie5 😀
The Japanese garden is so nice, but the Chinese one is gorgeous 🤓
Yes, the Chinese one was really great. It is so fun to walk through so many different kinds of gardens.
Like travelling to different parts of the world, but though a Botanical Garden 😃
Exactly!
