Hey, how are you guys from the Northern Hemisphere? My fellows in destiny. π How is the mood, how is the health?
I told you that I would continue my post with the sunniest walk, in the middle of winter, when it is coldest and most desperate, to give you and myself courage.
The last few days have been rather warm. Much warmer than it should and could be in December.
Is it December already? π€
God, how fast time flies. Fortunately. In this unpleasant part of the year.
There was even sunshine. And this was welcome, because we heat with electricity, and it stops quite often lately. Ha ha π
I'd rather laugh than cry here. However, I live in a country where you can't expect much, and I don't.
So, despite the warmer weather, my body reacts to winter as a season in complete denial. Whether it's +15 or -15 degrees outside, as if it doesn't matter to it.
It's winter. That's the only relevant statement today. Nothing more.
No amount of high temperatures or little sun can compensate for this fact. All good things are short-lived anyway in this dead season.
So today I continue my sunniest walk to reach a roadside fountain, as you can tell from my photos so far. This fountain was almost the ultimate goal of this walk.
I have seen this fountain many times and in different seasons. It quite often does not look very good, despite the large concrete waste container placed next to it.
For today's walk, I tried to clear the garbage with Photoshop π... Kind of...
Yeah, I know, it's not funny.
Anyway, still, the area around is really picturesque if we can disregard the garbage.
It's difficult, that's clear.
But let's enjoy the scenery before we return to the fountain again.
Greenery, sun and poppies was what attracted me to this place and made me take this walk.
And now we return to the fountain.
I have to say that this fountain has always caught my attention and interest. Not only because it is located in a fairly communist area and carries quite a communist spirit with it. And not only because I get angry every time I happen to pass it. Because of the garbage. And because, although the people here do not care at all about the cleanliness of nature and the water they come to drink, they care about something else - only about their own comfort.
I say this because just recently I saw that someone had installed a lamp on this beautiful tree.
Someone simply attached a metal stake with a side branch along its trunk. Pity. I don't even want to see in detail how much the tree is damaged by this senseless installation.
So I'm glad I was here and took these pictures before.
Water. Source of life. To tell you the truth, I did not take the risk of drinking from the water of this fountain, although it is so used by the local people. Water in the region is not good. There is an aggregates mine very close by, and the water has higher than normal amounts of limestone. Much higher. There is also a chemical plant very close by. As well as a thermal power plant. Everything is very polluted. Air, soil and water.
Hey, this post was about sun, heat, summer, and why not about beach too. That's why I took this picture for you.
It's funny because it's just some discarded disposable cups that someone didn't throw away in the right place. But they still bring unexpected good cheer, which is how I plan to end this post about my walk to the roadside fountain. π
You know how much I love unexpected endings to my walks. They are simply unavoidable here.

You probably mean "time has stopped" there. Because time often stops in some countries. Sometimes for decades. Just kidding. π I'm glad I was able to get you there. That's usually the goal of my posts. π

You are absolutely right. Nature walk! Well, there's some asphalt here. And a fountain surrounded by trash. But there is still nature. And that's probably the most important part.
Such a pleasure walking along. I need those warm moments back with the winter reminding of herself lately :D

Oh yes, I wrote that the last few days have been warmer, but actually last night winter reminded of itself in a very tangible way. We must not forget the most important thing - it's winter! And at the same time, we need our warm memories precisely because of this.

Of course, summer heat is not so bad, no matter how hot it is.
More recently, there was an episode of a crime series on TV, the theme of which was heat and its effect on people committing crimes. The movie wanted to instill that when the weather is hot, people's brains boil and this makes them commit incredible crimes. And I think that more or at least more brutal crimes are committed in cold countries where people's brains freeze π... or their hearts freeze... I don't know. But there is something that is freezing and stops the access of blood to it, brrrrr π±π‘οΈ

It looks peaceful because there are no people around, you're right. It's actually an intercity road and that saved me from the crowds of people, haha. π My opinion is that sometimes it is better to be alone to feel the real energy of the place.

Nature, when green, always gives peace. I think, that's determined by some psychological reasons and I guess it is already substantiated and explained in a scientific way, and for us, ordinary people, it remains only to ascertain it every time with amazement - nature gives peace and tranquility! And nothing can replace it in this its effect and do this better than it itself. π

I was both happy and sad while I was there too. It is inevitable. But the most amazing thing is nature's ability to recover and exist, despite everything. Its powers are beyond our efforts to destroy it. π

I know there are places in the world where the problem of environmental pollution is huge. And whenever I complain about the state of my country, I usually say: Well, ok, it could be a lot worse, we could be like this country and that country. Then I remember that I shouldn't compare ourselves to the least developed countries, because Bulgaria is part of the EU after all, and I continue to get angry. ππ

It was really a sunny walkπ , My mood was not interesting at first but after seeing the bright expanse of natural scenery I became a little interested in walking too, and by the way the flowers were very beautiful
