Everything happens indoors where there is no such thing as cleaning, just replacing old with new. Inside, there are no voids. Cleaning outside.
All the events of our lives take place inside. We succeed or fail on the inside, we are happy or weary on the inside, we win or lose on the inside, strong or weak on the inside, we find solutions or we don't find them on the inside.
Stop the struggle with the outside because it does not represent the inside and is not worth calling it a reflection. Outside, it is not your reflection, but the average illusion of men. Not your reflection at all, but your illusions and their illusions stacked before your eyes.
Always start inside. Work on the inside, give yourself time to work on the inside. The inside is either full of waste, or useful and right. Inside, there are no spaces between feelings and thoughts. Each cell must be charged with something. There is no clean cell, no one can clean cells but you can replace them. Push the new behind the old to throw it out. You cannot remove an idea without replacing it with a new idea, you cannot replace a feeling without a new feeling. There is no such thing as no-thought, no-feeling, or no-pain.
There must be something. Replace pain with recovery and don't try to reach no-painless because you won't. You might replace it with relaxation.
There is no such thing as no fear, but you can easily introduce a feeling of stability into it. The opposite of fear is not courage but persistence. You are stable. They will tell you that the opposite of fear is love. Do not be deceived, for the opposite of love is stagnation and stagnation, because love is a flow. Replace, do not clean.
Your grandfather's ideas replace them with your own, you don't need flabby ideas. Get rid of them before you replace your hives with mold. You just replace. Life does not clean itself, but replaces. You replace night with day and darkness with light, you replace the dead with the living, you replace one people with others without stopping.
Clean up your delusion whose name is a body. Cleaning is an external process. Clean the illusion that transports you from one place to another. Clean the illusion whose name is a path. Only the illusion can be cleaned because it is outside where there are many voids that collect more illusion. Outside, we do not exchange anything, but rather we pass on the illusion among ourselves. Outside is a public place. You live and grow inside. Take care of the inside so that you can collect an illusion more orderly than the illusions of others outside.
