I found this funny sign when walking through the Schutt's Apple Mill which is so much more than one would expect.

This family-owned business has been in operation since 1918, and I have been visiting this farm market for over 35 years. It is one of my semi-annual places to go every year.

These apples are so delicious and are grown on sight as with all the strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and other fruits that you can pick yourself during each season.

As soon as you enter the side door you are in sensory overload. There are so many items to see in each and every aisle. I ended up stocking up on herbs that I don't grow myself.

If I didn't make all my soups from scratch this would be an easy alternative. It would be hard to choose which soup I would want to buy.

Look at the variety of jar pickles and jams offered. This farm market is the perfect place to find unusual items for making up a gift basket for the holidays.

I really enjoyed reading all these signs relating to cats and dogs, but especially the "Cat Wisdom".

Of course, it being the holiday season the store is totally decked out with any type of Christmas theme you can imagine. I have always been a fan of Gingerbread Men and this selection was so cute.

I like to purchase one or two new items to decorate the house with. However, after looking through all the bins I already had, I restrained myself. ;-) Once I do my Christmas decorating post you will understand why. I have over 45 years of collecting items to decorate the house with. lol

In this section, the variety of tea towels is outstanding. If you purchase one, add in a couple spices, a soup mix, and perhaps a candle, that would make a nice gift for someone. Oh, and don't forget a mug for hot cocoa this winter.

These two guys were visiting the store with their owner and I have to say they were so well behaved with so many people milling about.

If you're a bird fan, these cardinals were so pretty. I don't tend to collect things like this but found them adorable.

This aisle would have been my husband's favorite as it had every kind of snack, dried fruit, and sweet candy you could ever want. It was a good thing he wasn't with me as they were pretty pricey.

Now, one of the reasons for coming to the farm market in the fall is to get a gallon of freshly pressed apple cider, after all, it is an apple mill.

This facility was added a few years ago, and you can watch them making the apple cider through the large windows.

These are the steps they go through to process the cider. It is posted on the wall next to the large windows.

I love coming here in the fall to see all the fun things they have for the holidays. Most of all, for the cider and fresh fry cakes they also make on sight. Now, if you had a place like this in your neighborhood, would you come here often? The aroma in the market alone would make you want to come back for more, just saying!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing Schutt's Apple Mill, and it is only 4 miles from my house. It's a good thing I only stop in a couple times a year.

Thank you @tattoodjay for this fun, weekly #wednesdaywalk posting community.

I've been collecting Christmas stuff for 50 years but oddly enough, I don't have much for around the house, just a LOT for the tree. So much I was able to do 2 trees once!

I'd love to wander around a store like that, but I think I'd only go once or twice.

I stay out of that store except in the spring and fall. They are always changing what they carry for the seasons. I do love to stop and get fresh strawberries and blueberries when they are ready. I laughed when I realized I have been collecting ornaments for over 50 years now, not 45. I forget how much older I have gotten. lol

what a cool store so much to see and buy they sure do have a huge range of soups

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day

You're welcome, Jay. The Apple Mill has something for everyone. I forgot to showcase the tasting room they have as well.

👍🙂👍

Such a magical store full of goodies! Too many nice things to browse making it difficult to decide what to buy. I’d better leave my purse at home as this shop would take all my pocket money away. Christmas is coming too soon.

I totally agree. It is a tempting store with so many goodies. I only got the herbs for cooking and preserving. I was good!
