I went to economics department and requested some students from first semester to write a paragraph for me. I gave them a topic; My Academic Journey.
Some students were hesitant to write but i persuaded them to write. They did, thankfully.
While they were writting paragraphs, I was looking at the classrooms and walking in the centre ground of the department. Once they were done with their paragraphs, I took my pages back from them and started walking to my department.
Suddenly, I thought to go to Botany department. Its been almost a year since i visited botany department.
A dog was walking away. He noticed me for a second but then he mend his ways. He tried to approach me but i pushed him back by showing my hand to him. I am afraid of these dogs.
I walked in the department. It opened under deep blue sky loaded with dense clouds. Trees were standing in the middle of the department. A big tree was surrounded by different other trees.
Clouds were in constant walk like me. They were also in struggle like my life.
I walked down through the stairs and voices of birds were audible to me. A saw a painted cat over a wooden door. Two students were sitting besides a photocopy shop.
Some plants in pots were sitting silently but i am sure they were whispering in their silent language. Silence is the language of nature.
The attractive part of the department was the stairs. These stairs were colorful and beautifully aesthetic.
In the gallery, cross sections of different trees were hanged. Only botanists can understand the real names of these specimens. They can describe these specimens.
On the opposite side, conifers were hanged. I walked away from these specimens to the central part.
Inside a closed notice board, some items were placed for selling. Revenue from these items would help them to invest in initiatives.
I stood in the balcony and looked at the person who was walking upstairs.
I greeted the plants. They were quite smiling but complained that no one is looking after them!
Aah poor little souls.
I looked up at the sky, floating clouds and inhaked air inside me. This was beautiful feeling to feel. I looked at the fleeting beauty of autumn. Leaves are turning colorful from yellow, red to orange and falling down.
Catcus was the last plant who greet me. It uttered; Good bye 🫂.
