Join us for #wednesdaywalk of @tattoodjay. It is so much fun. It is in collaboration with @elizacheng's #makemesmile challenge.
Laut Tawar is a small village located in the West Sumatra province of Indonesia and is known for its pristine beaches and stunning natural scenery. I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful place for a holiday and it was an experience I'll never forget.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the traditional stilt houses of the local villagers. These houses were perched on poles above the water and were connected by bridges, making them accessible by boat. I had the opportunity to talk to some of the local people and learn about their way of life. They were incredibly friendly and hospitable, welcoming me into their homes with open arms.
Another memorable experience was taking a boat tour of the surrounding islands. The crystal-clear waters were teeming with colorful fish and coral, and I even had the chance to snorkel and explore the underwater world. The tour also took us to a small island where we had a picnic and swam in the turquoise waters.
The food in Laut Tawar was another highlight of my trip. I had the chance to try traditional dishes made from fresh seafood caught by the local fishermen. The flavors were incredible and I'll never forget the taste of the grilled fish and spicy sambal with a cappucino drink so taste.
