Wednesday Walk to The Atomic Gulls

The last few days have been very difficult. We are taking up the consequences of a hacker attack, everything is sad. Calluses on the fingers from the keyboard, red eyes and burning in the mouth from liters of coffee. The end is still far away. But it's time to exhale a little and go outside. Decided to go to the big water to absorb its wisdom and become as flexible.

Our port is a little different from the cozy habitable parts of the South seas, filled with private boats and small fishing vessels. We are the gateway to the Arctic, a strategic stronghold. All boats are here for work. A little rough, clumsy, able to withstand the pressure of cold waters.

And as a constant reminder of the unbroken human spirit in these harsh lands, here stands one of the most famous conquerors of impassable ice - Lenin, the first nuclear-powered icebreaker in the history of mankind.

Lenin was launched back in 1959, paved the way for the northern caravans under the aurora borealis for almost 30 years and found peace in 1989, forever moored in this port, He deserved it. Only 11 such ships have been built by mankind. only 6 continue to conquer the northern seas. The infinite energy of the atom against the eternal ice.

And this giant, in addition to the museum, has turned into a cozy roost for local gulls. Everything is as they like, not far from the shore and inaccessible to enemies, almost like a rock. It's funny to think that the great-great-grandparents of these gulls could also huddle on it.

This picture at first made me sad that such a strong beast was on a leash. He is an old man who stays on the shore and accompanies the young and strong towards the adventures that he once had.

But maybe he's happy with how things turned out. He did everything he wanted. People created him, and he served them faithfully for so many years and now listens to the peaceful rustle of the waves and is happy to give shelter to seabirds, descendants of those who once traveled with him.

It calmed me down. A half-hour walk allowed me to relax and collect my thoughts. Leaving the port, I noticed one inscription on the wrought-iron fence

"love, dudes, because in the end you won't have anything more precious"

Good the walk refreshed you and helped clear the mind…. and rescued you for awhile. 😉 I can see these are well built boats for the cold waters and climate. The icebreaker certainly is an old soldier.

Hope the problem with the hacker will be resolved soon, Northerner. Take care 😊

Thank you for your support Northern Lady! 😊
I hope next week my life will get back on track )

How are you dear friend @thenortherner good afternoon

I appreciate you sharing all this information and the beautiful photo shots

Have a beautiful afternoon

Thank you, my friend, for your attention. Well, we lost that attack and are now recovering, a laborious process. But the people here distract me from bad thoughts 😄
