This is a post that I publish on the #wednesdaywalk community that is run by @tattoodjay
Merry Christmas everyone!
The first picture that I would like to show you is a photo of a nice little Christmas tree that I saw in a shop window.
I particularly liked the blue and green lights, which are somehow different from those of other Christmas trees that are mostly decorated with red and yellow lights.
I don’t know about you, but for me, the festive season always brings back memories, making me feel nostalgic about the past.
How fast time goes by!
It looks like it was only yesterday that we celebrated Christmas in 2009, for example, yet fifteen years have passed since then.
Without doubt, much water has flowed under the bridge, and fifteen years is a long time for the world to remain unchanged.
Since it’s Christmas Day today, the next two photos show my Christmas dinner.
As you can see, it was a simple meal.
I baked a shortbread pie, which I filled inside with cuts of boiled chicken breast, sun-dried tomatoes, roast red peppers, and grated Gruyere cheese.
The end result was surprisingly good and delicious, and we paired it with some nice red wine from 2023.
Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate Christmas—walking and feasting, Merry Christmas!
