Seven days to go before the celebration of Chinese New Year 2025, I saw a spectacular Chinese New Year display at SM Mall in Masinag. While waiting to finish my daughter's speech therapy I decided to go to the mall on foot. At the mall, I never expected to see an amazing Chinese New Year display, especially in the center hall inside the mall. There are a lot of Chinese red lanterns hanging in every corner of the mall. Honestly, I don't know why the Chinese do not celebrate their new year on January 1st. The question is do you believe in Chinese lucky charm? Well for me there's nothing to believe in any lucky charm but don't rely on your future in luck.
This Chinese New Year display is located at the ground floor center hall of the mall. On the ground there are a lot of displays related to the Chinese New Year there are three prosperity trees, a Chinese lantern, and of course, a snake since 2025 is the year of "Wooden Snake".
Since I didn't have company and I was just walking alone inside the mall I took my chances to take some photographs of all of those Chinese New Year displays. I really like those Chinese lanterns hanging above the ground.
This is my super close shot of the Chinese lantern.
I captured those Chinese lanterns in the front of the food court of the mall.
Without any particular reason, I really like those Chinese lanterns hanging from the second floor up to the top floor.
I found those Chinese lucky charms inside the mall department store. There are different kinds of lucky charms there is a golden buddha, golden snake, and other Chinese lucky charms.
Please Note: In this article, all the images are mine I captured them using my Realme 5 Pro. Camera: Taken by Realme 5 Pro
