My Wednesday walk today is from the Black Sea town of Ahtopol.
In the early November morning, I walked along the central streets of the town and the center.
The weather was gloomy and very windy. The sky was cloudy and foreshadowed approaching precipitation, as was the forecast.
The center was deserted and quiet. The only sound was the loud crashing of the waves on the shore, which was very close.
I looked around the central buildings: the post office, the town hall, the National Community Center.
Next to the library and the museum, there were handmade mosaics hung on the facade and an interesting bench covered in colorful, children's-themed motifs.
The park was beautiful, covered in autumn colors.
Nearby is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which is known to be the largest church located south of the city of Burgas.
Brightly colored graffiti stood out in the gloomy morning.
I moved towards the harbor. It was also deserted. The weather had deteriorated since the day before and all the fishermen had put their boats away.
I continued walking along the promenade. The restaurants that are open and full of people in the summer are now empty.
A forgotten tie was hanging on a wooden gazebo around the sea.
In the distance, the Ahtopol lighthouse was visible, which is difficult to reach because it is built on a reef.
My walk on this November day was windy, but very refreshing and interesting.
Lovely town by the sea. So many art works around the city. Very quiet and peaceful place for a relaxing visit.
I liked the art I found, there's more around the city, but I didn't have much time to walk around more. Nevertheless, my walk was wonderful and really relaxing.
