Hello my people of Hive!!!, here a little while with you. At this moment I am going to tell you a little bit about the community where I live. 29 years ago the Guásimos municipality opened its arms to our family group. However, until recently I learned that its name comes from a tree that is native to this area, the guásimo, is a tree of great height, whose fruit resembles a dark green raspberry, which is used by some people as part of livestock feed in small quantities, it is also used for its properties against diarrhea, kidney problems and colds, hemorrhoids and dysentery.
On the other hand, I comment that we have a very valuable natural resource (a spring), they say within the myths that surround it, is that here inhabits a giant toad they call it (La Mara de la Naciente), some have seen it and also say that if this toad is killed, this spring dries up.
This municipality is characterized by five seminaries of different congregations, among them: the Mercedarian, the Augustinian Recollect, the Diocesan, the Franciscan, and the Passionary, all of them inspire from their spaces a peace and tranquility to make a connection with God, when activities such as spiritual retreats or camps with children are carried out there.
In relation to this photo, this structure dates from a house of many years, its history I do not really know it well, some say that there lived a family group until the time when this urbanism arose, but in reality what I want to show you is that this house is made with adobe. The adobe is a mass of mud in the form of bricks and dried in the sun to build walls and then these were lined with a blanket. Here in the municipality there are many houses of this type, although they were built because they were considered ecological housing, for its thermal insulation, generates a barrier against noise, the raw material is low cost, because the materials are available in the environment, in short there are many benefits offered by these types of housing.

Guasimo is a tree not found in my area. And yes, I agree with you that it closely resembles to a green raspberry. I wonder if it could be eaten or what. Hehe. I see you had a great walk at your place that is truly a paradise of unique vegetations and beautiful flowers as well. Have more happy Wednesday walks and beat regards my dear friend!
