Week 2 Of the LOLZ Joke Challenge Is Here
Welcome to our weekly LOLZ Joke Challenge where you can share a joke you know and help us build our joke database for use with the LOLZ token. Last week's Challenge was a success and we added several jokes to our database and gave out a bunch of LOLZ. But to really get the Jokes flowing we have simplified the tasks and increased the rewards.
The Tasks
- Tell us a joke in the comments. 1 LOLZ
- Re-blog this post. 1 LOLZ
- Tag a friend. 1 LOLZ
If we select your joke to include in the database, we will reward you with an additional 5 $LOLZ, and include you as the source for the joke (unless you prefer to be anonymous). Post as many jokes as you like, and earn an additional 5 $LOLZ for each joke selected for inclusion.
What We Are Looking For
Any joke can be posted and earn an $LOLZ, although we ask that you stay Safe For Work.
To be selected for inclusion in our database, your joke will need to be -
- Clean. LOLZ is kid friendly. Please, no dirty, racial, or potty humor.
- Short. We prefer jokes with short setups and punch lines.
- Funny! Or at least Punny.
Your joke does not to be original. Any joke you know will do.

About LOLZ Token
LOLZ is a Hive engagement token with the mission of spreading laughter and joy on the Hive blockchain. And while the LOLZ Project may have a sense of humor, it is no joke.

Will you support other languages???
Maybe in the future, but since most of jokes are play on words jokes, we don't expect they will translate well.
They should not be translated, they should be Jokes in other languages.
And it would be nice to call it like

Maybe a good way as you fill the database is to post like 30-50 of the jokes and have people curate it and all post their top 5-10 so you are left with higher quality jokes that will have more impact as the command is used. Great idea btw, I hope this starts to pick up because laugher is a good healthy medicine

Thanks for these. We will think about how to credit jokes from other sites, but at this point were planning no just crediting the Hive authors who contribute the joke. So at this point we can't add these to our database. But thanks for the suggestion and the !LOLZ
Yeah no problem I'm just making sure the jokes get credited to at least where I found them. the san's comment one was also used on that site. In this world of abundance information I think information continues to spread at such a rapid rate that the origins maybe hard to decipher at times. Can't wait to see how this project evolves over time.
Oh also is there a difference between using lol or lolz for clarification purposes.
No, both do the same thing. Just some are used to LOL so we made it easy for them to remember.
