Lions Gate Bridge | World Photography | Round 20 - Bridges Of The World Entry

lions gate.jpeg

Nestled in the lower mainland of Vancouver, BC, Lions Gate Bride is a suspension-style bridge that connects Stanley Park to North and West Vancouver over top of the Burrard Inlet.

Built in 1938, the structure spans nearly 6000 feet long with a height of nearly 400 feet. More than 50,000 vehicles cross the bridge every single day. It is the main arter connecting to downtown that sees its fair share of traffic delays.

Aside from that, it is an incredible structure that offers many spectacular angles on a photo-friendly day.
