I am just feel overwhelmed over the years of non stop working, But one of the many things I enjoy doing in my down time is to create and I am glad to finally finish this piece that I started to work on since 2014, But I got distracted with life and work and doing other things never got the change to wrap it up so here we go !Hello #hive @onchainart ! , Been in the loop of feeling down, Not sure why, Maybe many things on my mind and
Scene Breakdown
I started with this WIP render, My idea was just to make something quick and not complicated, Treehouse in night light and that's about it, I used Maya to model the treehouse, And for the tree I has to sculpt it with Zbrush
Since I re opening the scene again in 2021 I was planning to make the scene more interesting, And by that I do my fav thing which is make the scene busy, So I started with some vegetation's using Maya paint FX, Drawing grass and flowers for more natural look
After imp done with the hero house, I stared adding more houses to the set, Since my modeling skills not super great I kept the houses low poly to save time, And since I am putting my focus on the treehouse I didn't want to spend more time on the BG since it will be blurred in the final look
And ya, Models are kind of condensed :D
Lighting Breakdown
After setting up models and the camera layout, I move to my fav part, Which is lighting !
I started with a blue / gray skydome, for overall feeling and my scene wont be dark
Next is adding my moon light, Directional light hitting from the back for a nice rim light
Next is adding area and windows lights to the city in the background, I lit some areas to make it look more random, Its night time, Maybe not everyone is up :)
After that i added my last light, A fake spot coming from the treehouse to put some lights on the lonely girl
And a little bit of volume for some effect
