My emptiness

Saludos a todos en este nuevo dia, estos últimos días han sido bastante fuertes para mi, no he descansado mucho y tengo muchos sentimientos abrumadores encima, sin embargo, dibujar el poco tiempo que tengo libre ayuda a drenar eso, esta vez presento este dibujo que realice uno de esos días en los que me sentía bastante mal, un toque de surrealismo ayuda a expresar mejor el vacío, para esta oportunidad quise pintar sin mucho cuidado, dejando mi mano ser libre y creando un retrato que tiene textura, espero que les guste.

Greetings everyone on this new day, these last few days have been quite hard for me, I haven't rested much and I have many overwhelming feelings, however, drawing the little time I have free helps to drain that, this time I present this drawing that I did one of those days in which I felt quite bad, a touch of surrealism helps to better express the emptiness, for this opportunity I wanted to paint without much care, letting my hand be free and creating a portrait that has texture, I hope you like it like.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto donde quería representar un rostro saliendo de su lugar, donde un vacío se asomaría a través del rostro, comencé a pintar utilizando tonos piel y algunos tonos marrones, como mencione, quería pintar sin mucho cuidado asi que comencé a depositar los colores de una manera rustica, probe diferentes tonos marrones en el hueco del rostro, al final decidí que se vería mucho mejor con un marrón oscuro, con este mismo tono pinte el cabello, en nuevas capas comencé a detallar el rostro, hasta tener una textura un poco rustica pero que aun asi definiera bien las facciones del rostro y cuello.

I started my sketch where I wanted to represent a face coming out of its place, where a void would peek through the face, I started painting using skin tones and some brown tones, as I mentioned, I wanted to paint without much care so I started to deposit the colors of a rustic way, I tried different brown tones in the hollow of the face, in the end I decided that it would look much better with a dark brown, with this same tone I painted the hair, in new layers I began to detail the face, until I had a slightly textured rustic but still well defined the features of the face and neck.

En el fondo coloque un tono base de un color salmón, y comencé a realizar manchas con tonos beige y marrón, luego de crear el fondo con esta especie de nubes en turbulentas, comencé a agregar mas detalles al rostro, dándole mas volumen a ciertas zonas incluyendo el hoyo, en el cabello agregue ligeros reflejos de marrón claro, luego agregue mas nubes cubriendo parte del torso, asi dar la impresión de que esta sumergida entre nubes, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color bastante leve ajustando la exposición, contraste y agregando unos pequeños toques de luz en el rostro.

In the background I placed a base tone of a salmon color, and I began to make spots with beige and brown tones, after creating the background with this kind of turbulent clouds, I began to add more details to the face, giving more volume to certain areas including the hole, in the hair add slight highlights of light brown, then add more clouds covering part of the torso, thus giving the impression that she is submerged in clouds, finally apply a fairly slight color adjustment adjusting the exposure, contrast and adding a few small touches of light on the face.
