The work I do today is an intervention of a photograph of my authorship, it is the image of an Agave plant, this is well known because of it is used for various liquors, threads, medicines and it is also an ornament in squares and gardens in my country, I have made the intervention giving value to various planes of the image.
El trabajo que hago hoy es una intervención de una fotografía de mi autoría, se trata de la imagen de una planta de Agave, esta es muy conocida porque de ella se sacan variados licores, hilos, medicamentos y también es ornamento en plazas y jardines de mi país, la intervencion la he hecho dando valor a diversos planos de la imagen.
The first step is to extract a fragment of the main image, move it in the opposite direction, modify the colors and apply shadow and bevel to the achieved image to create the second plane in the image.
Lo primero es extraer un fragmento de la imagen principal, se mueve en sentido contrario, se modifican los colores y se aplica sombra y bisel a la imagen lograda para ir creando el segundo plano en la imagen.
To the first extraction of the image another fragment is taken, this time smaller, the same filters are applied and in this way the third plane of the image is created.
A la primera extracción de la imagen se saca otro fragmento, esta vez mas pequeño, se aplican los mismos filtros y de esa manera se crea el tercer plano de la imagen.
Finally all the created layers are joined together and transparency is applied to each one to create depth in each plane, edges and color changes are very important, when applying an image over another one there is usually a color modification.
Finalmente se unen todas las capas creadas y se aplica transparencia en cada una para de esa forma crear la profundidad en cada plano, son muy importantes los bordes y los cambios en el color, al aplicar una imagen sobre otra por lo general hay modificación en el color.
One of the filters I use is the oil painting filter, in varying degrees, I apply this filter at the end, after seeing if the textures are well established, we return to give value to the color and apply brightness, the final intention is to leave the work as if it were a painting and not a photographic image, thank you very much for seeing and valuing.
Uno de los filtros que uso es el de pintura al oleo, en grados variados, aplico este filtro al final, luego de ver si las texturas estan bien establecidas, volvemos a dar valor al color y a aplicar brillo, la intencion final es dejar la obra como si fuese una pintura y no una imagen fotografica, muchas gracias por ver y valorar.
