Hello to all dear friends and welcome back to my blog, lately I have spent many days without leaving the house and that has begun to affect my sensitivity to light, like sometimes when I see bright lights I feel discomfort in my eyes and even if it is hard to believe, this has had an impact on my art, unconsciously I was using very opaque colors in my illustrations, colors that I don't use frequently, especially in the practice paintings that I do daily (and that I don't always publish) and then After paying attention to this important detail, I decided to apply more vivid and daring colors full of contrasts and brightness.
This search to use more vivid colors has led me to explore forms of art that were not my preference before, such as watercolor and other classic media, I have also been fascinated by abstract paintings that use different shades in a fantastic way, after Having seen such incredible works, I took on the task of creating a painting that would demonstrate a wide range of colors and this is the one that I bring you today, I hope you like it.
Hola a todos queridos amigos y bienvenidos de vuelta a mi blog, últimamente eh pasado muchos días sin salir de casa y eso ha empezado a afectar mi sensibilidad a la luz, como en ocasiones cuando observo luces brillantes siento una molestia en la vista y aunque sea difícil de creer esto ha tenido un impacto en mis ilustraciones, inconscientemente estuve usando colores muy opacos en mis ilustraciones, colores que yo no uso frecuentemente, sobre todo en las pinturas de prácticas que hago a diario (y que no siempre publico) y luego de fijarme en este detalle tan importante decidí aplicar colores más vivos y osados llenos de contrastes y brillos.
Esa búsqueda de usar colores más vivos me ha llevado a explorar formas de arte que antes no eran de mi preferencia, como la acuarela y otros medios clásicos, también me eh fascinado por las pinturas abstractas que usan de manera fantásticas las distintas tonalidades, luego de haber visto tales obras increíbles me di a la tarea de crear una pintura que demostrara una gran gama de colores y esta es la que les traigo el día de hoy, espero les guste.
Proceso - Process
I imagined that the concept of this illustration would be based on strong colors accompanied by more vibrant colors, so I fixed in the background a range of colors led by a dark red, a blood red and a bluish green accompanied by violet that together would show my intention to break with all neutral scheme.
Imagine que el concepto de esta ilustración se basaría en colores fuertes acompañados de colores más vibrantes, así que fije en el fondo una gama de colores liderados por un rojo oscuro, un rojo sangre y un verde azulado acompañados de violeta que juntos mostrarían mi intención de romper con todo esquema neutral.
For the next step I wanted to create a skin tone not as light as the ones I usually use and then I proceeded to add details and shadows to the most important parts trying to highlight her femininity at the same time I wanted to give a serene and calm aura to the illustration without lose sight of my focus on colors.
Para el siguiente paso quise crear una tonalidad de piel no tan clara como las que uso de costumbre y luego procedí a agregar detalles y sombras a las partes más importantes intentando resaltar su feminidad al mismo tiempo quise darle un aura serena y tranquila a la ilustración sin perder de vista mi enfoque en los colores.
Now I continue to incorporate more or less dark details and shadows into the skin to highlight each area as well as possible, as well as start adding details and stronger colors to the lips and eyes.
Ahora continúo incorporando detalles y sombras más o menos oscuras en la piel para resaltar cada zona lo mejor posible, así como empiezo a agregar detalles y colores más fuertes, a los labios y los ojos.
To finish, I wanted to create some colored stripes that would highlight the details and create a harmonious effect that would show how the colors interact with each other.
