Pintura en Caracol / Snail Painting [Esp/Eng]

in OnChainArt8 months ago

This is another esoteric commission that I made for sale in my client's perfume shop, it is another of the surfaces that I loved when painting on it. A little complicated because it is smooth, instead of rough or rough, but I really enjoyed it.

The motif I painted is about Yemayá, my client tells me that she is known as the goddess of the sea. She is also attributed * the mother of fish *, * the goddess of fertility *, * virgin of sailors *, * protector of the home *.

The process was very similar to the painting process that I did on the coconut shell that I showed you previously, with the only difference that the surface where I was going to work was not cut 🐌

Their request was to paint Yemayá on the snail, giving me freedom in the creation so I wanted to highlight the mother of the fish because I thought it was lovely to be able to paint them on this surface as well, since I have liked to paint fish for years, although In my personal works I do them with watercolor.

I show you the rest of the photos I took for the record 🙌🏻
