It's a pleasure for us to greet you as always we're happy to be able to show you our new illustrations inspired by Ghibli studios, the truth, a few months ago we shared here and on our instragram: @cafeconlecheart a very special illustration for us due to it was a lot of fun to make it, this called Kiki's Delivery Service
¡Hola chicos! ¿Cómo están? es un placer saludarles, hoy estamos muy emocionadas porque les traemos una nueva ilustración inspirada en los estudios Ghibli, como recordarán hace un tiempo compartimos por acá y en nuestro instragram: @cafeconlecheart una ilustración muy especial para nosotras ya que fue muy divertido realizarla llamada Kiki's Delivery Service
It was the first time that we dared to make an internet challenge and it was completely worth it, since this type of illustrations takes us out of our comfort zone and in the end it's incredible to see the different results that can be obtained from the same drawing by different artists.
Fue la primera vez que nos animamos a realizar un reto de internet y valió completamente la pena, ya que este tipo de ilustraciones nos saca de nuestra zona de confort y al final resulta increible ver los diferentes resultados que se pueden obtener de un mismo dibujo al ser elaborado por diferentes artistas.
This time the challenge was inspired by a short film from Ghibli studios, which we had honestly we haven't seen before called Mei to Konekobasu and this is based on the same universe as one of its most popular characters known as Totoro.
En esta ocasión el reto estuvo inspirado en un corto de los estudios Ghibli, que sinceramente nunca habíamos visto llamado Mei to Konekobasu y esta basado en el mismo universo de uno de sus personajes más populares, como lo es Totoro.
Mei to Konekobasu 
As we were saying today's illustration is inspired by Ghibli studios, therefore here we leave the Ghibli's illustration and our illustration, we hope you like a lot:

Step by Step
First, we made the sketch and added the base colors of the little boy
Primero hicimos el boceto y agregamos los colores base del pequeño niño
Second, we start by adding details to the boy's face, using the original image as a color palette.
Segundo, comenzamos agregando detalles a la cara del niño, utilizando como paleta de color a la imagen original.
Third, we added light-sourcing and shadows to the child's hair and his sweater and prepare the base colors for our fun cat bus.
Tercero, agregamos fuente de luz y sombra al cabello del niño y preparamos los colores bases para nuestro divertido gato bus.
Fourth, we started to draw the hair of our bus cat, it is the first time that we make something like this, so the process was a bit slow.
Cuarto, comenzamos a dibujar el pelo de nuestro gato bus, es la primera vez que hacemos algo así por lo que fue un poco lento el proceso.
Fifth, we added details to the paws, eyes and mouth of our bus cat.
Quinto, agregamos detalles a las patas, a los ojos y a la boca de nuestro gato bus.
To finish we create a beautiful background and added the lights in the eyes of our bus cat.
Para finalizar creamos un hermoso fondo y añadimos las luces en los ojos de nuestro gato bus.
For the creation of this logo we used Photoshop CC 2020 and a Huion INSPIROY H640P graphics tablet
