Greetings, Hiver friends and fellow art enthusiasts! I hope you have a fantastic weekend, Today, I am excited to present my latest coffee art creation!
The rich, earthy tones of the coffee grounds command attention, creating a unique texture and depth that infuses the scene with warmth and intimacy. The setting sun, a radiant orb in the distance, serves as the painting's focal point; its soft glow contrasts strikingly with the darker hues of the surrounding trees and fields. Falling leaves, resembling tiny brown specks, evoke a sense of gentle movement and illustrate the passage of time. The simple fence line adds a touch of rustic charm, completing this evocative and peaceful scene.
I used three types of painting brushes for this piece, and it took me an hour to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the step-by-step basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
π Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
π Pencil and Eraser
π Coffee Powder
π 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
π Ruler
π Clean Water
π Rag
π Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
π Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
π Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
π Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
β’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Thank you for your continued support of my art.
That's cool work. Really extreme tonal palette considering you have one colour. I enjoyed taking a look.
