Hello everyone,
Lately i have been enjoying creating these types of cinematic renders for titles. I made this to learn more about creating landscapes.
I created the terrain in World Creator and textured it in Quixel Mixer. Then i applied the texture map to a plane in Maya and rendered it using Redshift.
Here i am using world creator to create the terrain and export the height map and heat maps for different textures. There you can see the reference images i am using to create this landscape.

Heat maps for two different textures.
Here i am using Quixel mixer to texture the terrain. I am using heat maps as a mask for textures.
After texturing the terrain, i applied the texture maps to a plane in maya. I used redshift to render the image.

Thank you for reading till the end. :D

Very Cool! Have you thought about trying some animations? I would love to try something like this but animation wise.
Thanks! :)
Me and my friend are working on a short sequence similar to this. Will post it here after completing it.
Awesome cant wait to see it! Getting photo-real renders in CG is very difficult.
Indeed it is. Stay tuned for more updates about the project. :D
