This is a watercolor drawing of a fish that I like: the mandarin fish.
I dream one day to be able to have my own little aquarium tank in which I could have different creatures, including fishes, maybe a mini octopus and some turtles.
I like this fish because of its vibrant colors.
I find fishes to be absolutely beautiful because of their elegance. Watching a small tiny fish swimming is one of the most relaxing things to witness .
As usual I always start with a pencil sketch and I add details as I go.

I began with coloring the fish and creating an unique background after.

This drawing took a lot of hours. Nevertheless I enjoyed painting this fish with every minute that passed.
It’s gorgeous! This looks like a page in one of those adult coloring books that you can purchase at the store. I can imagine how much fun you had adding the background and then playing around with the colors. Your artwork is always a vibrant eye full ~ 💓
