Linocut + Drypoint prints on shirts. 💜

in OnChainArt7 months ago

Hello everybody! Last time I showed you my attempt of printing on dark fabric, black to be precise. And it wasn't successful... You could barely see it.

And even tho I didn't dislike them, it wasn't what I wanted. So I added some fabric paint on those shirts and let it dry overnight because the prints I made on lighter color fabrics turned out great, so I figured that Adding a light background it would be great.

I mixed some more pink ink and went ahead with this experiment.

And it worked! So I can leave that to rest because I really needed to fix that otherwise I would go completely insane. They look way better, so now with the leftover pink ink I decided to print two of my favorite drypoints on fabric to make some patches.

And took some red ink to ink my linocut+drypoint matrix and print it on another shirt I had available. Since the red ink was a bit lumpy, I first tried printing on a random piece of fabric, then added some lineseed oil and printed on the shirt.

And I'm officially done with this matrix. Now I'll move on to make some more mixed technique prints. Thank you so much for reading me. The pictures were taken with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 cellphone.
