Hi everybody! I'm back after being busy and overwhelmed with pretty much everything in my life, things have been chaotic but I'm grateful I have wonderful things that keep me going.
One of the things I'm grateful for is that I was picked to make a graphic arts demonstration at the final exhibit of the workshop and that kind of acknowledgement is just wonderful. So I picked three fabric prints and stapled them carefully on wooden frames and took them to be showed with other works by awesome colleagues.
The day came and I was super stoked, I was surrounded by people interested in block printing in general and to get into this beautiful world.
The technique I used was linocut so it was less messy and I used fabric since it is my current work. I also got to hang out with friends and it definitely lifted my spirit. Overall it was a delightful afternoon, and when I came back home I had my beautiful daughter waiting for me to watch movies together.
Thank you very much for reading me, pictures are of my ownership.
How exciting to see your works exhibited there. I love the pink tone of the ink and, if I could only choose one, I opt for the largest. That contrast between the outer figure and the heart, wow. When I was at school they took us to visit Francisco De Goya's hometown and taught us how to do that technique you show. It's not easy at all! We can see how much you enjoy it.
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project! Check out our Reading Suggestions posts!
