Sketching People

in OnChainArt2 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone!
Today was a special day as my cousins and nephews showed up after almost 5 years. It was a pleasure to see them after a long time. After hours of conversations and the lunch, we settled down and my youngest nephew spontaneously asked me to draw him, Something that I used to do religiously as a fine artist. It has been almost 6 years from then as I pursued film making in animation film design and then getting into motion design I had stopped drawing from life somehow. Also the pandemic broke the habit of going out and sketching people. I have seen my drawings going from realistic to just mere abstract representations and I have always believed in the saying "the jack of all" somehow I came to a realization that I need to focus on a niche to have a sustainable career in the visual design field which led me to leave a lot of different things I used to do as a fine artist. Of course I still sketch everyday but sketching people and them reflecting on it was a big part of my lifestyle a few years back. And thanks to my relatives who showed up suddenly and made me realize what was it that compelled me to draw even when I used to draw shitty, its been a long way for sure!

So presenting to you "Duggu" the youngest nephew and "Sushil" my elder cousin brother. Hope you like the sketches!
