Today I started a new art collection just for black & white images which I've done with white pastel on black paper. This is new to me as I haven't done much with pastels but thought it would make a nice change and would be different to the normal painting. I started with some images which I have recently taken with the help of a trail camera which I was allowed to put in a local wood. This is what I created:-
"Night Time Prowler"
Mr Fox is on his way, to feed again another day. He stops and turns and looks your way. There's partridge for dinner I would say.
"From Light to Dark"
Reeve's Muntjac tip toe through the forest at the end of a day. In to the wood they go without delay. Safe from the fields where they might become prey.
"Out of the Darkness"
A badger has come out for it's night time forage. He wanders in the darkness looking for worms, bugs and delicious morsels left unguarded.

It is very great to work with white on black paper, you see a different perspective, it happened to me that when I did it a lot then it was difficult for me to make normal drawings back xD.
Nice work!
Yes thankyou, I like trying different things. By looking at black and white you will see light and shadow better and by doing that you can incorporate it into you normal work to bring more depth.
