¡Hola cómo están hermosa comunidad en Hive! Me presento, soy Elba Guevara (ElbaTheSchnauzer es mi nombre de artista), soy de Venezuela, tengo 15 años, mi signo zodiacal es Leo. Mi pasatiempo favorito es dibujar, mi segundo pasatiempo favorito es escuchar música y ver anime.
Who I am?
Hello how are you beautiful community in Hive! I introduce myself, I'm Elba Guevara (ElbaTheSchnauzer is my artist name), I'm from Venezuela, I'm 15 years old, my zodiac sign is Leo. My favorite hobby is drawing, my second favorite hobby is listening to music and watching anime.
Desde siempre he sentido un gran cariño por los animales, especialmente los gatos, por lo que desde temprana edad empecé a dibujar animales en diferentes estilos, soy una persona introvertida, por lo que no era mucho de mostrar mi arte, aunque hoy en día trato de ser más abierta.
I have always felt a great affection for animals, especially cats, so from an early age I started drawing animals in different styles, I am an introverted person, so I was not much to show my art, although today I try to be more open.
Al principio mis dibujos eran recurrentemente de perros y gatos, ya que era lo que mejor sabía hacer, luego cuando empecé a ver series, sobretodo animes, traté de variar un poco mis dibujos y buscar un estilo propio.
At the beginning my drawings were recurrently of dogs and cats, since it was what I knew how to do best, then when I started watching series, especially anime, I tried to vary my drawings a little and look for my own style.
¿Qué técnica utilizo?
Durante más de 3 años he dibujado sólo en tradicional, usando estilos como achurado, acuarela, estilo manga, cartoon, etc. Hace poco más de uno o dos años empecé a dibujar en digital utilizando programas de vectores, en el cual me he vuelto muy buena y poco a poco sigo aprendiendo.
What technique do I use?
For more than 3 years I've been drawing only in traditional, using styles such as chased, watercolor, manga, cartoon, etc. A little more than one or two years ago I started to draw in digital using vector programs, in which I have become very good and little by little I keep learning.
Me considero a mí misma parte del furry fandom, ya que de igual manera me gusta dibujar animales con características antropomorfas, así como también animales de fantasía inspirado también en mitos y series de fantasía que me encantan.
I consider myself part of the furry fandom, since I also like to draw animals with anthropomorphic characteristics, as well as fantasy animals inspired by myths and fantasy series that I love.
Mi fursona o el personaje que me representa en las redes consiste de una perrita de raza Schnauzer, con ojos estilo anime, un collar de caracol y una bandana color lavanda.
My fursona or the character that represents me in the networks consists of a Schnauzer dog, with anime style eyes, snail collar and lavender bandana.
Hablando de las redes, empecé inicialmente en Wattpad, donde subía mis historias fanfics relacionados a la serie de animación Paw Patrol, ya que también me gusta mucho, las cuales tuvieron mucho éxito al poco tiempo.
Ya más tarde luego de Wattpad, llegué a Youtube, empecé con un canal principal en donde suelo subir Tributes o edits de Paw Patrol y de vez en cuando los Booktrailers de mis fanfics de Wattpad. En abril del 2021 empecé con un segundo canal, en el cual, a diferencia del principal, subo videos informativos y de entretenimiento.
Talking about the networks, I started initially in Wattpad, where I uploaded my fanfic stories related to the animated series Paw Patrol, since I also like it a lot, which were very successful in a short time.
Later after Wattpad, I came to Youtube, I started with a main channel where I usually upload Tributes or edits of Paw Patrol and from time to time the Booktrailers of my Wattpad fanfics. In April 2021 I started with a second channel, in which, unlike the main one, I upload informative and entertaining videos.
Como dije anteriormente, soy una persona introvertida, esto debido a que también sufro de Autismo desde pequeña, me cuesta mucho socializar y entablar conversaciones, me hacen mal los ruidos fuertes y entiendo las cosas de manera muy literal.
En cierto modo, dibujar me ayuda a descargar el estrés que a veces llevo en mi día a día, me lleva a imaginar, a crear mis propios personajes y mi mundo de fantasía, un mundo en donde me puedo sentir segura y donde puedo tener el control de todo, así como tengo el control de mi lápiz.
As I said before, I am an introverted person, this is because I also suffer from Autism since I was a child, it is very difficult for me to socialize and have conversations, I don't like loud noises and I understand things in a very literal way.
In a way, drawing helps me to unload the stress that I sometimes carry in my day to day life, it leads me to imagine, to create my own characters and my fantasy world, a world where I can feel safe and where I can be in control of everything, just as I am in control of my pencil.
Actualmente me gusta ver anime en mis tiempos libres, mis favoritos son Komi-san Can’t communicate, My Roommate is a Cat y Kimetsu no Yaiba. Antes no me gustaba, pero poco a poco me fui encariñando y tratando de aplicar algunas técnicas y estilos de éste a mis dibujos.
Currently I like to watch anime in my free time, my favorites are Komi-san Can't communicate, My Roommate is a Cat and Kimetsu no Yaiba. I didn't like it before, but little by little I got fond of it and tried to apply some of its techniques and styles to my drawings.
Mis metas es poder conseguir con mi esfuerzo todo lo que necesito para seguir adelante con mi sueño de ser artista, será un gran placer para mí compartirles todos los dibujos tanto en tradicional como en digital, y quizá un poco de contexto o paso a paso de cómo los voy creando. Así me despido por ahora, les recuerdo que yo soy Elba y espero mi contenido sea de su agrado.
My goals is to be able to get with my effort everything I need to move forward with my dream of being an artist, it will be a great pleasure for me to share with you all the drawings both in traditional and digital, and perhaps a little context or step by step of how I create them.
