Look into these Eyes

I often create a series of different versions of My digital artworks. I intend to start selling them on official marketplaces, and if the demand is there, also create bigger prints on canvas for wall placements etc

Look into these Eyes

“Cats are opportunistic predators by nature. If given a chance to kill a bird or other small animal, most cats will take it. That is just the way cats are made.”

Look into these Eyes, has two versions, they are both created in 2020

THE PROCESS

All my digital art goes trough several programs before they i feel they are finished. So with me it is not just photoshop, i do not even own a copy of photoshop for that matter.

For this artwork, i used an original photo that i have recently taken of the cat that i love dearly with my whole hart, but because i am currently going trough a divorce, i also had to separate from her.

This picture is taken a couple of days before my ex moved out, and the cat snuggled on the bed with me. And i took the photo.

I started to work with brushes that mix and blend the the colors of the original photo, In various ways and was i very careful with the strokes, and how i placed them. I also put some extra colour in the eyes, because my cat has nice green eyes in real life also.

After i was happy with that result, i took that work into another photo editing program, where i played with lightning, filters etc and that was also the reason why i took care of the strokes, because now even in the dark version the red and blue jumps out on the bottom

This resulted in a dark and light version, my personal preference goes to the dark version, and i think it will look very good as a print on a light wall in someones living room.
