Portrait in realistic drawing created with graphite pencil for my friend's birthday ... Retrato en dibujo realista creado con lápiz de grafito para el cumpleaños de mi amiga.

Hello friends of the Hive community and welcome to this space dedicated to drawing. This time I want to share this new drawing portrait that was commissioned for a friend and coworker. I hope you like it.
A work friend who was also an athlete finds out that I make portraits in drawing and she all excited asks me to make a pencil portrait of her. And I answer him .. Of course this will be my birthday present since in the next few weeks it is your birthday.
Already committed to his gift, I start to work on the drawing and begin to use materials such as the 6B graphite pencil, soft bristle brushes, a moldable eraser, a cardboard measuring 35 x 50 centimeters and using a reference photo I begin to create main parts of the face such as his eyes, his eyebrows, nose and his lips. Then would come the creation of the skin creating a very soft layer of graphite as if stroking the paper and then with the help of a soft bristle brush I expand the graphite and thus create a smooth and even surface leaving some tones for the lights and shadows.
Then for the darker shadows and to give it more depth and volume I use the 6B graphite pencil making a little more pressure on the pencil.
Now comes the creation of the hair with the same 6B pencil with very little pressure, we create a first layer with very small and very soft lines and then blend with the brush. Then we return with a second layer and then we blur with the brush and then with the moldable eraser we create small lights in the hair.

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Hive y bienvenidos este espacio dedicado al dibujo en esta oportunidad les quiero compartir este nuevo retrato en dibujo que me fue encargado para una amiga y compañera de trabajo. Espero que le guste.
Una amiga de trabajo y que también fue deportista se entera que yo realizo retratos en dibujo y ella toda emocionada me pide que le hiciera un retrato a lápiz de ella. Y yo le contesto.. Claro que si este sera mi regalo de cumpleaños ya que en las próximas semanas es tu cumpleaños.
Ya comprometido para su regalo me pongo en marcha a trabajar el dibujo y comienzo a utilizar materiales como el lápiz de grafito 6B, pinceles de cerda suave, borrador moldeable, una cartulina de tamaño 35 x50 centímetros y usando con una foto de referencia empiezo a crear partes principales del rostro como su mirada, sus cejas, nariz y su labios. Luego vendría la creación de la piel creando una capa de grafito muy suave como acariciando el papel para luego con la ayuda de un pincel de cerda suave voy expandiendo el grafito y así crear una superficie suave y pareja dejando algunos tonos para las luces y sombras.
Luego para las sombras mas oscuras y darle mas profundidad y volumen utilizo el lápiz de grafito 6B haciendo un poco mas de presión en el lápiz.
Ahora vendría la creación del cabello con el mismo lápiz 6B con muy poca presión creamos una primera capa con líneas muy pequeñas y muy suaves para luego difuminar con el pincel. Luego volvemos con una segunda capa y después difuminamos con el pincel para después con el borrador moldeable vamos creando pequeñas luces en el cabellos.
