Hey there, friends! I recently created this ballpen drawing and wanted to share it with you all. As you can see, it's a half moon with the other half shaped like a woman. I named her Ma Belle Evangeline, after the song from The Princess and the Frog.
I've always been fascinated by the night sky, especially the moon. There's something about it that's just so calming and beautiful. And as I was drawing this piece, I couldn't help but think about how the moon is often seen as a symbol of love and romance. It's no wonder that so many songs and poems have been written about it!
But why did I choose to draw a woman on the other half of the moon, you might ask? Well, to me, it represents the idea of finding love and companionship in another person. Someone who lights up your world and makes everything feel brighter and more magical, just like the moon does on a dark night.
That's where the title of this post comes in - "Be My Moon Ma Belle Evangeline." It's a line from the song that inspired my drawing, and it just feels so fitting to me. I want to find that special someone who will be my moon, my light in the darkness. And who knows, maybe they'll even see themselves in Ma Belle Evangeline's half of the moon.
I know it might seem cheesy or cliche to some people, but that's because it is🤣 but I also truly believe that love is one of the most beautiful and powerful things in the world. It can bring so much joy and happiness, and it's worth taking a chance on, even if it's scary.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post about my ballpen drawing of Ma Belle Evangeline. It means a lot to me that you've taken an interest in my artwork and the thoughts and feelings behind it.
