Hello and welcome to this post, where I Will show You How I carve a flower in a potato .

First I Will choose a potato:

I like to choose potatoes with a uniform shape so that I have even surfaces to carve, and I try to look for potatoes without defects or holes.

What materials do I use?

This technique of carving fruits and vegetables requires special tools such as these Taiwanese knives, each one has a function and is used depending on the cut you need

To start you have to peel the area you are going to carve..

Then a hole is made marking the size of the center of the flower that you need to make.

Then each petal is carved from the center of the flower one by one until reaching the center evenly

Once the center of the flower is carved, start carving the outer petals, the size varies depending on the proportion and type of flower you want to make.

With the first row of petals completed, start the second row with petals slightly larger than the first row.

Finally, the details are polished and depth is given in the areas that require it to give volume..
