It seems that I have already begun to prepare for Halloween and there are a lot of mystical and a little fabulous ideas in my head)

I have always been a fan of the themes of spirits, mermaids and forest keepers, so I just could not get past this idea)
"A date with the spirit of the river", my character drawing
This is a rather banal (but why not?!) Love story between a simple mortal young man and a mystical creature who lives at the bottom of the river. As in all similar stories, they have no happy ending and their love will always be out of reach.
It is impossible to see a beautiful spirit during the day, its image appears only with the onset of darkness, but even then the spirit cannot approach man.
This creature takes the image of a girl only on a full moon and goes ashore to meet her lover in the pale rays of the moon. Their meetings are short, extremely rare, but full of love and special charm.
Despite all the difficulties, the young man comes to the riverbank every night to see at least for a moment his lover in the reflection of the river.

The themes about witches, spirits and fantastic and supernatural beings are great, your drawing style is great too, it reminds me of the illustrations of my favorite children's books when I was a kid.
